Answer:	It should be just fine for a 7 year old. It can be as small as 10 inches up to 21 inches. It has 6 snaps for adjusting to different sizes. I love mine.

Answer:	I'm 5'3" and it comes down just below my shoulder blades. The front falls way below my knees. This is the only thing I don't like about this. I use this cape when I color my hair, so anytime I put my arms up, the cape bares my back and it falls into the front. So I've had a couple of accidents with hair color on my upper arms or upper back. I've had to put a snap on the back to keep it closed. It would be better if they used less material in the front and more in the back.

Answer:	No. The covering would quickly get dirty and the metal does not appear to be powder-coated or otherwise made waterproof. I use them in my living room as they are quiet comfortable and go with our minimalist decor.

Answer:	To me the stool seems very sturdy and durable but I would certainly double check with the manufacturer on the weight limit just to make sure there would be no safety concerns.

Answer:	Yes, you can clean this material. It's pleather material so you can wipe it off. I wouldn't use anything too strong though.
