Answer:	I had the same problem with the foot rest. It also does not come to a rigid stop and is flexible. I asked Catnapper if there was an adjustment possible and also asked the seller. The sellers customer service was very helpful but Catnapper was not at all. The bottom line is there is nothing you can do to fix it. I gave the chair to my daughter and purchsed a chair from another company
