Answer:	If we did not put felt sliding pads on the bottom of each leg, I believe the would. However, all 4 chairs can not be pushed in at the same time because the chairs will bump into each other. You can only push in 2 of the chairs that sit opposite each other. With that said, our chairs only stick out about 4-6 inches from the table.
