| Answer: | Judy, the fit wasnt perfect on mine either, but after a little pressure I was able to get the holes to line up enough for the screws to thread in. After you have the chairs together loosen the screws slightly and sit on the chair and wiggle around a bit to make it level then without moving it tighten up the screws.
