Answer:	I would say, yes this could be used for a sunglass case. It would not fit any oversized sunglasses. I placed a smaller pair of Kate Spade sunglasses in the case and they fit with room to spare. The case is longer than the sunglass case that came with the glasses (about 2 inches).
