Answer:	There is assembly required but it's easy to assembly. I am not sure why someone said it would take one person a couple hours to assemble. it took my dad a Max of 30 min to assemble this table. it isn't that hard at all.

Answer:	I would say yes! The add specifies 3+. I don't think it would cover a span of 5 years.I think this is a bit childlikefor an 8-year-old

Answer:	I believe so. I just measured them and from the floor to the seat part of the chair is 10 inches and from the seat to the table is 9 inches. My 18 month fits and my 7 year old I had originally purchased them for still fits :)

Answer:	No, my kid has never had any issues with her back while sitting in the chairs. You are correct that it doesn't have much support, but honestly my kid doesn't really sit in it long enough for it to start hurting her.

Answer:	This table and chairs is small, very light weight and not worth the money. One chair broke within the first month of purchase. I purchased this set for my twin 1 1/2 year old grandsons. They are able to turn them over and throw them around. I would strongly suggest purchasing a wood set or something more substantial than this.

Answer:	They "stick" a little bit but our 8 month old had no trouble peeling up the corners and pulling it towards her. I'm not sure what to use for the restaurant. She peels up the Chick-fil-A sticky mats too.
