The legs on the balls are not meant to support the ball they are there to keep the balls from rolling. My students have the choice of a ball or a chair, out of 38 students about 34 used them daily and 4 kids chose chairs. They offer movement but in the classroom there are rules such as your bottom must stay n the ball, no big bounces and nothing sharp near the balls. They do puncture easily if poked with a pencil or if a thumb tack or push pin is nearby

Answer:	Yes, takes 105 lbs to be able to adjust height (sit on it as adjust with push button under seat). Holds up to 265lbs I believe and ranges from a little over 15" to 21" or 23" high. Read description bw company provides a lot of good info and dimensions. It's meant to sit on with feet often on floor, people will then tilt it a bit forward but forces core use and better posture as well as allows for movement for those who need that. Great rubber base, doesnt slide. I use for my therapy kids from elementary through high school and the parents love them too as they sit in with us. Some people enjoy feet on base and move...design allows for preference and need.
