Answer:	It is almost smooth. There is a few perception of a rough surface because of o micro details on the surface, that you can see in one of the pictures that show the surface of the product.Touching the nail on the surface and moving forward and back is possible to feel the resistance, but touching the finger and moving, it goes well without any resistance, although is possible to feel that is not a smooth surface like the screen of a smartphone. Question:	In inches, what is the depth of the desk? I doubt that from where I would sit, to reach the back of the desk would take 47.3 inches
Answer:	Yes, it's shorter than the average 29" desk, which is great if you have short tibias.
Question:	Is it reversible
Answer:	It is a fake wood-grain laminate, but it's so dark you can barely see the wood-grain. The laminate is good though if you ever spill anything on your desk, easy clean up and doesn't ruin the wood. This is a pretty heavy desk, and I've liked it so far (had it for about 5 months now).
