My bar 29" bar stool do not have any cracks in the legs nor did it have any damage to the legs or connecting areas. All of those things must be taken into consideration when asking a question about any seating item barring "maximum weight". Nothing is ever a for sure thing. |

| Answer: | These stools are not hard to spin but the bearing plate between the seat and the frame top is very poor quality. It is barely adequet to affect spinning of the seat. The bearing plate is a 1/16" thick plastic ring with rollers inserted around the perimeter of the ring. These rollers contact the wood surface of the seat and frame top. The overall quality of these stools is poor. I bought six about 7 months ago and already threw them all away. |

| Answer: | I have not experienced any lacquer transfer from the stools I bought. The rotating seat will not pinch your finger. I will tell you that the quality is not very good. There is a very cheap bearing disc between the seat top and the base. This bearing disc is about 6-7" in diameter, it is no more than a 1/16" thick plastic ring with very tiny rollers inserted into the plastic ring. The rollers ride on the underside of the wood seat and the top of the wood stool. The stool I sit on almost every day is starting to wobble. The other stools I have are sixteen years old and of much better quality. I would not recommend this product. Pay more money and get better quality. |
