Answer:	Hi Elisabeth, I estimate the chair to be around 4 to 5 pounds in any case it is not very heavy and locks so when you walk it does not open by itself. Also you receive 2 in the package ( I sold one so I got mine basically for free!) I have a kiosk and the fact that they are high works great for me. I am happy with it and would buy again. (The bar for the feet is just to rest your feet while sitting it is not to stand on.)
