Answer:	We recently purchased this bedframe and have a 10" high full sz tuft and needle adaptive foam (memory foam) mattress. The parts are: 2 Bed Foot/Head (single piece each) 2 sides 2 foot rests 12 middle supports And all the screws you need to put them together, and even a hex wrench. The setup is laid out pretty straight forward for you in a 3-step process. Step 1 is to put one of the sides on each head/foot (the two pieces will look identical at this point) Step 2 is then to screw these two sides together. Step 3 is to add the middle supports, both between the two sides and the two foot rests. It looks exactly as shown once assembled.

Answer:	I've used this same frame (the king size) with a 10 inch memory foam mattress. It worked great even with supporting more than 550lbs nightly. To be fair though, our memory foam was thick and very firm.

That being said, a cross section of the wider panels would reveal the direction of the grain of each block opposite that of the adjoining blocks, especially quarter sawn. This process is far more labor intensive, by man or machine, than just joining long lengths or wider panels. Answer:	No. Just a mattress. The slats for the bed function as the box spring. I have a Zinus combination spring and memory foam mattress and I love it!

Question:	what is the height of the mattress part
Answer:	The platform height is approximately 13"-14" to the slats from the floor. With my 8" foam mattress the total height is perfect for me as at 67 years young, it enables me to get in and out of bed without major effort. You can raise the height of the bed by either using a box spring, a thicker mattress or 'bed risers' which can be purchased relatively inexpensively at most home improvement outlets. Hope this helps.
Question:	I'm interested in this bed, but I have read that some customers discovered bed bugs when assembling it? Is this bed treated/inspected before shipping
Answer:	Bed bugs are in the mattress. This bed does not come with a mattress.
