Answer:	I just checked, they really don’t have any smell at all. I’m usually very sensitive to smells, especially a plastic chemical smell. I was pleasantly surprised that these were odorless right out of the package. I still washed them before we used them. You can never be too safe!

Answer:	Plug it in to inflate it to whatever firmness you desire. Then you can pull the plug and move the mattress to wherever you want. I found that the air mattress did a very good job of holding its inflated pressure for a week.
Question:	If I keep it covered with a quilt will it hold up to my cat walking on it
Answer:	I would never promise an inflatable mattress would hold up to any cat that had their claws. The instructions do say pets should not be allowed on the mattress.

Answer:	I had plenty of correct screws and a handful of extras. Instructions are skimpy but totally understandable, simple. Slats are 3/4 inch by 2 1/2 inches sturdy, 5 inches apart. Center beam is wood. The legs for the center beam need some better fasteners eventually (when i moved it i didnt lift, i slid, im little- and one beam leg came off the screw). No metal. Its a sturdy frame, fit my XL perfect
