Having 32gb shows noticeably benefits when you add in memory intensive applications like Servers, Visual Studio, Eclipse, 3D CAD, Photoshop etc. Depending on one's tolerances even 32gb might not be enough eventually. Obviously if you need to push performance boundaries in the work you do the more RAM and raw processing power you've got at your disposal the merrier. Whether its all worth the added cost is up to the individual user. |
