Answer:	There were holes on the frame that you could use to attach a headboard, but they did not line up for me. I had a wood headboard so I attached a board brace across from leg to leg, drilled holes in the right place and attached the headboard that way. Answer:	You cannot attach a headboard with a 5/16 in screw! We bought a headboard and the screws it came with would not fit through the small holes of the bed frame. Had to chisel away at the bed frame holes to make the screw fit. And it took forever and was super frustrating

Answer:	There is only about 6 inches of height under the bed. So depending on the suitcase height it may or may not fit. There is quite a bit of room on both sides of the center bar but again the height is only 6 inches so only small or flat items would fit.

Answer:	There are rubber "feet" on the end of the steel legs to prevent dents and marks left on your floor.

Answer:	Combined weight of the people on this bed is up to 500 lbs. I would caution to NOT EXCEED 500 lbs and would actually conclude that 500 lbs is the maximum of the weight of the persona plus the weight of the mattress just to be safe.

Answer:	...The full frame is cut for a full mattress. Any bigger and your mattress will flop over the sides. Think for a second.

Answer:	The bed comes needing to be assembled. The parts are: 2 Bed Foot/Head (single piece each) 2 sides 2 foot rests 12 middle supports And all the screws you need to put them together, and even a hex wrench. The setup is laid out pretty straight forward for you in a 3-step process. Step 1 is to put one of the sides on each head/foot (the two pieces will look identical at this point) Step 2 is then to screw these two sides together. Step 3 is to add the middle supports, both between the two sides and the two foot rests. It looks exactly as shown once assembled.

Answer:	Bought this for my daughter. Had it around 6 months. She is a teenager and sometimes there are 3 teens sleeping on it and I have heard no squeaking or movement on our tile floors. Still seems solid, very happy with my purchase.

Answer:	The deluxe version has thicker rails and thicker panels on the headboard. The deluxe version is heavier in weight as well.
Question:	is this bed made of real solid wood? No fillers or glues or other materials added
Answer:	It is NOT pine, which is a soft wood. It is some kind of hardwood for the frame and legs and, I think, pine (not plywood as rep said) for the slats. It is finished to a bit like varnished pine or like a light golden oak. They've used some small pieces of hardwood compressed and glued, so that's what the erratic or zigzag colorations are. That saved those small pieces from a landfill somewhere, and that's a good thing.
Question:	How much vigorous activity can this frame withstand
Answer:	This bed is great for vigorous mental activity, vigorous television watching, vigorous reading. Physical activity, anywhere on the spectrum of vigor, not so much. The metal legs in the middle of the bed snapped off at the welds, the metal rail then bent, the bed collapsed in the middle, the broken metal supports dug holes in my newly finished hardwood floor. This was 2 months after purchase. Amazon wouldn't extend return. Zinus would not issue refund. Zinus would only send me exact same bed as replacement. I'm out the $100 I paid for assembly, plus my hardwood floor is wrecked.

Answer:	It depends on the type of headboard you want to install. I have beautiful antique headboard & footboard which I no way would like to throw away. The boards come with slots at either end. There are pins at each end of groove or slot. The hardware is like prongs or teeth that rest on the pins that are embedded in the groove by the manufacturer of head and footboards. If you have such headboard than the best hardware is Ronan Factory.

Answer:	The platform height is approximately 13"-14" to the slats from the floor. With my 8" foam mattress the total height is perfect for me as at 67 years young, it enables me to get in and out of bed without major effort. You can raise the height of the bed by either using a box spring, a thicker mattress or 'bed risers' which can be purchased relatively inexpensively at most home improvement outlets. Hope this helps.

Answer:	The wood is from overseas, so I don't know the wood species. The slits are spaced approximately 5 inches apart and there are a bunch. I found the construction be great. There is center support made of tubular metal with 3 legs. We use it in our spare bedroom for company. My son is 6'5" and weights over 220. Both he and his wife have had no problems sleeping on it.

Question:	Has anyone had any trouble with the slats falling out from under the bed? i bought a metal frame that the slats fall out from under the bed
Answer:	I've had my bed about a month. My son jumps on it a lot. My husband and I do "things" on it. No problem with the slats. There are Velcro pieces on the edges of the bed and the slats themselves that keep them in place pretty well.
Question:	Is this bed frame sturdy and squeak free
Answer:	We’ve had the bed since March now and no squeak or shaking, sometimes you’ll hear the Velcro from the slats when you sit on one side or the other, but I’m not a small person and I have a suitcase under the bed that touches the slats. I don’t really notice it when my husband gets on the bed. It’s definitely sturdy and well made.

Answer:	You have to remove the tail to walk. The tail is hard plastic, covered in a soft neoprene with foot pockets built in, you have to sit, pull off the cover then get your feet out of the tail to walk. There very fun for kids, they work well if your kid is a good swimmer.
