Question:	Would this be good for a bunk bed? Instead of a boxspring so the kids cant feel the bars
Answer:	I don't know. This has worked well between mattress and box springs on an ancient twin bed. However, it might not be sturdy enough to be effective on a bunk bed without springs. It seems that a single slab of thin plywood would be better. There are staples holding these pieces together and, I have snagged a fingernail occasionally when making the bed. Good product for me, maybe not for you.
Question:	Is one folding bed board enough support for a queen or do I need two
Answer:	It’s the right size for a twin or twin XL . For a Queen size you need 2.

Answer:	Depending on your weight it might. I bought it for our fold out couch and it worked for a week before the board cracked. My son (170 lbs) kneeled on the edge of couch and it snapped the corner of the board off :( it’s made of partical board and the strapes are held in place with staples.

Answer:	If you are short it might be too tall. I am heavier than you but am 5 feet 2 inches tall. The arm rests are great and the back support is great - it's the reason I bought the chair - but I have to set a block of wood on the ground to set my feet on because the chair is a little too tall for me and without the block the edge of the chair cuts uncomfortably into the backs of my legs. If you are 5 ft 4 in or taller you probably would be fine. I work in the chair 10 hours a day and otherwise find it very comfortable. I like the mesh back because I live in a hot climate and that helps to keep things cool.

Question:	Can this replace cheap wooden slats on a wooden queen platform bed that already has a steel center beam installed
Answer:	Yes and... No. You need to read the dimensions carefully. I ordered this item after reading the answer to this question, under the impression that it would be a simple replacement. It wasn't. That's because "Queen size" (or in my case "twin size" and "full size") is apparently a vague descriptor. The steel slats came about an inch short, so I had to spend a few hours reframing the bed, drilling, screwing. It was a pleasant weekend project, I suppose. These slats are excellent.

Answer:	Thank you for your question. When the battery back-up becomes weak, the Smoke Alarm will chirp about once a minute (the low battery warning). This warning should last 7 days, but you should replace the battery immediately to continue your protection.

Answer:	Yes, they are different. 1. Check your building codes, but some levels of remodeling or new construction may require hardwired interconnected smoke detectors/carbon monoxide detectors. 2. Yes, they work even when the power goes out. That is the reason for the battery. 3. I would suggest that when you replace the battery in one, replace the battery in every unit. Mine always seem to need replacing when I am out-of-town and this does not make my wife very happy, nor our dog, Rusty. Neither like the chirping.

Answer:	There are quite a few slats on this bed. I was actually surprised at how many were included. It should work with any mattress easily.

Question:	Can this be placed between mattress & boxspring
Answer:	The base is very heavy so that it can support big folks. The seat is also heavy. Barring that it is just like assembling any office-type chair. I think everything on this chair is assembled with a single hex key that it provided. It is short and difficult to tighten the bolts with, so I used my own long hex key of the same size. Not a biggie at all. You install the hydraulic post to the base, the casters pretty much just pop in. The seat goes on the post. I think you have to mount the post socket to the seat base and that it was a lot of screws and it took some grunt to get that done, but it is simple. Once you have a rolling base with a seat you install the back and arms. It took me about 45 minutes, and I went intentionally slowly to make sure I did it right. I am fat and did not want to have this collapse, possibly hurting me, due to my not having been very thorough. I have had this now for well over a year and it has a slight wobble in the seat, probably the post hole wallowing out over time. It started doing this soon after I set up the chair and has never gotten any worse. I am very pleased with this chair. It is the first one like this that I have owned that was not garbage or too weak to hold me. I never worry about it breaking. I spend about an hour or two in it just about every day. It is still comfortable. The assembly is not difficult, but the installation of some of the hex head cap bolts required some strength. If you have enough strength to turn about 20 tight bolts this is easy to assemble. If not, perhaps you need a helper with some forearm strength. I am 52 and have fairly strong arms, but I am not a 20-something anymore. I still got it done. If you get this, whether you have a friend assemble it or you do it yourself, you will like this chair. I am glad I spent the money on it.

Answer:	I have submitted a correction request to Amazon - the link on the page for the chair is wrong. The correct warranty is here: https://www.officestar.net/sys/scr/incLoadDoc.asp?type=warranty&id=100051 Not only does the warranty go up to 400 lbs, but they have a lifetime warranty on the pneumatic cylinder, control mechanism, base and casters. I called the manufacturer and within 20 seconds they told me what I needed to email them to get a free replacement cylinder and mechanism.
Question:	What is the distance between the slats
Answer:	I am also 6'6" and I spend all day programming in this chair and it supports very well. The seat is wider and longer (to support upper leg better). The chair has a lumbar support 'pillow(?)' thing that you can see through the mesh backing in the picture and it is adjustable up and down.

Answer:	Where the arms are the width is 22 inches. I know this is all there is to this question but I wanted to add something. My husband and I are both large people and this chair has been almost perfect for us. We love it! I say 'almost perfect' because about 6 months after we got it the left arm rest developed a crack toward the inside and began to actually come apart. I contacted the manufacturer, filled out some paper work and within days we had a replacement with no charge of any kind. The customer service was perfect. I would highly recommend this chair.

Answer:	Of course! My dog is injured and we had to dis assemble our queen bed frame. We put the mattress & box spring directly on the floor. Awful for us! Answer:	Be sure to measure your current bed frame first. I tried to put this inside my bed frame, but this bunkie board wasn't wide enough to reach the side supports. So it is useless to me, unless I buy some wood from home depot and try to widen the side supports in my current bed frame.
