Question:	Does it install well with a queen size bed
Answer:	You will have no troubles installing the EZ Adjust Bed Rail on your queen size bed. There is a quick assembly and installation video on the product page. Question:	Does the strap have to go around a bed frame or can you secure it around a mattress
Answer:	Bed frame would be the most secure, however, around the box spring under your mattress would work. I don't have a box spring under my mattress so I secured the strap around the opposite side of my wooden frame.
Question:	Will this work with customatic "privia" adjustable bed frame with no box spring, mattress only
Answer:	I looked up what a privia bed was. Not sure this would work. It has two pipe arm to slide under the mattress and straps that go around the box springs to keep it secure. It is a good product in the correct application. I feel you should keep looking.
Question:	We have a Craftmatic adjustable bed. Does the EZ Adjust Bed Rail work on this type of bed
Answer:	Should be able to, but you must install differently than the enclosed instructions. The rail is secured to the bed by straps that are supposed to loop around the bed's foundation. With the automatic bed, you must loop and tie the straps around the moveable base directly under the mattress NOT the foundation. This keeps the bed rail secured to the bed without interfering with operation and movement of the mattress and base. We are using it on a Tempurpedic adjustable twin bed and works great for what we need. The mattress base is metal on this model, so straps are very secure, just had to fiddle with excess length for a while. No problems with it all.

Question:	It says the bed assit hand/rail works if the measurement from floor to bottom of mattress is 17.5". ours measures 17"? will that work
Answer:	Should work fine. On lowest setting, the bottom of the bar that rests on the boxspring measures 16". My parents' boxspring is only 14.5", so the bar does not quite rest on it, but it's still solid & works well.

Answer:	I have a platform bed also. I put it between the box spring & the mattress. There is a strap that goes around and secures so it can not be pulled out. It is very sturdy. I have used mine with much success.

Answer:	Looonnnggg. It easily wraps around the biz springs of a queen size bed (60” width) and back around to the straps to lock and tighten solid to the bed. The extension posts go under the mattress almost all the way across the bed for stability, the two straps wrap under the base to lock it in place.

Question:	Do you have to use the light bar for stability of the side handles
Answer:	Yes, the product is fully assembled. All that needs to be done is to extend the legs and lock them into position as needed. Very sturdy frame, but needs a back board to give something for the patient to lean against.
Question:	Can I purchase replacement anti-skid strips from the manufacturer
Answer:	The part that has the seat and back is the part that hangs over the bathtub. You sit on the seat and slide over into the tub. You have to swing your legs into the tub or lift the patient's legs into the tub. When the seat slides to the other side it has a clip that holds it in that position until the clip is released to slide back out of the tub (the seat slides side to side).
Question:	Does the LED light need to be plugged in or is it battery operated
Answer:	I measured as best I could with legs in highest position. The clearance below the lowest point (the sliders on the seat that connect it to the frame sit lowest) is about 19 1/2. I'd say you probably want the tub height to be below 19"...maybe 19 1/4. Hope that helps!

Answer:	Yes, you can make it left or right sided. When you put it together, you determine which way the seat faces which is what determines whether it is left or right sided.

Answer:	The strap is long enough. The bars that slides between the mattresses are long enough that we don't have to use the straps. Best investment we have made in a while.

Answer:	It depends on how the bed adjusts. The polls that go under bed are once put together solid piece. I find that I can place it where is is most helpful and safe for wheelchair bound sister not to fall out of bed. If you want it placed at a bending point at hips or knees it wont work but if it's for upper body or calf it would work.

Answer:	Depends on the height of your mattress. It comes about 15 inches over the top of our mattress. I has been a literal lifesaver for us as my husband can hold on to it to pull himself up and to get his balance before standing up. Before the Medline Assist Bar he slid out of bed many times and had a very hard time getting us without assistance. Now he can do it himself! Saves straining my arms to help him. A real lifesaver!

Answer:	We have this on a king size bed, my husband says he didnt use any extra strapping to attach it to the bed. Hope that helps! There are times we have to push it back in because depending on how much, how often and which way you use it it can start to slide out from between the box spring and mattress. Its not a big deal though though im only 5'1" and have no problems getting it back in place by my self.

The Bed Assist Bar fits most beds from twin to queen, as well as most bed heights. It can be placed on either side of the bed, sliding easily between the mattress and box spring. Step 1:

Open the box and remove the contents. Layout all parts on a flat surface area to simplify the assembly process.

Step 2:

Assemble the Bed Assist Bar as instructed in the user guide.

Attach the Storage Pocket to the outside of the Assist Bar.

Step 3:

Take the mattress off the bed. Place the assembled bed assist bar at a desired location on your bed. Wrap the safety strap around the box spring or bed frame from your location to the opposite side of the bed and back again. Tighten. Place the mattress back on the bed.

Step 4:

A simple push-button adjustment lets you slide the legs and soft grip handle up and down to provide a custom fit.

Answer:	We use a king sized beautyrest platinum series (inner coil spring pillow top 14 inch thick mattress) and it has more then enough bend to accommodate the adjustable base we have. It all depends on the mattress, when you pick it up off the bed does it wanna fold in on itself? Can your mattress curl over 90° when picked up on its side? If so it should be fine for an adjustable base, granted memory foam mattresses are going to by far be the best options for an adjustable base.
