Question:	Anyone have a slick way to set up a stop block on this for repetitive cuts of the same length
Answer:	One way to do this is to create a sub-fence that attaches to the fence of your miter saw. The sub-fence needs to be long enough to rest on the outrigger arms and accommodate your cut length. Once you have that in place you can clamp a block or other type of stop to the false fence. Position the stop where you need along the sub-fence and then you can do repetitive cuts. Question:	can we use it with the Hitachi 10" miter saw with laser
Answer:	I have a hitachi C10FCH2 10" with laser. I needed to use the offset mounting brackets that came with the stand.Worked great
Question:	How can you order replacement bolts to lock down the saw
Answer:	The carriage bolts are 8MM, but 5/16" will work fine as long as you get new nuts as well. Like it was said, you can get those at any hardware store for less than $2. I had to replace mine, since the supplied bolts were a little too long for my old saw's base.
Question:	What is the assembled dimensions of the stand w/o the arms extended? I am looking for the dimensions between the feet when open. Thanks
Answer:	The top frame of the stand is 8-3/4" deep and 44 "wide. At the floor the outside dimensions are 54-3/8" wide by 24-3/4 deep. Since the legs slope outward and are about 1-1/4" square you could get the inside dimension by subtracting 2-1/2". If you need to put something under the stand you must allow for the slope of the legs. The arms extend about 36" each side. The two support beams for the saw or other tool are 20" long and extend about 4'' over the front top 44" beam and 7" behind the rear top beam. I use a DeWalt 12 miter saw on mine and have found the stand to be strong and stable.

Answer:	Yes, the supports extend out and are height adjustable. The material stops flip up or down without effecting the height of the support.

Answer:	It appears that if you buy the stanIt appears that if you buy the "stand" for 174.99, that's all you get...no brackets to hold the saw. Have to pay additional $28.00 to get brackets. Now, to me, that doesn't make sense. Why wouldn't the stand come with brackets to hold the saw? It would be like buying a kitchen blender "stand", and then having to buy the glass blender container. Weird.

Question:	After the saw is mounted on the brackets can it then be removed fromt he stand quickly for storage
Answer:	Yes There are two bars with handles that are attached to the bottom of the saw with bolts (you can see them in the picture). You put the saw&bars&handles assembly on the stand's horizontal tubes, slide the assembly where you want it on the tubes, and rotate the handles down to lock it into place To remove the saw from the stand, you just rotate the handles up and lift the saw&bars&hanles assembly off the stand. I assume that you would store the saw with the bars&handles attached for easy replacement onto the stand. To remove the bars&handles from the saw, you'd have to remove the bolts.

Answer:	1609B02007 is the bosch part number for the brackets. Amazon has them if you search the number, however as of this posting they are on the order of $10 cheaper direct from bosch. Can't say how shipping/handling/tax compares.
Question:	Do the ends of the support arms flip up to act as a stop when I want to cut several pieces the same length
Answer:	The end pieces move up and they can be used as stops, but I find they are a bit "wiggly" and seem cheaply constructed. I do not rely totally on them for stops; I clamp a piece of wood to the arm and make it as firm as possible. Maybe the one I got is not as well built as the ones used by the authors of the other two answers.
Question:	Would the Hitachi C12RSH 15 Amp 12-Inch Sliding Compound Miter Saw with Laser fit this stand
Answer:	Trini, I would believe John Cottingham's review, since he has one. The mounting system is very accomodating. The saw only needs four bolt holes in its base. The mounting bars on the stand can be placed anywhere along the center rail to accomodate the width of the saw base and the length of the bars can handle most depths of the saw since the attachments are in slotted holes. The rear mounting holes also have some play sideways so the rails can handle a saw that has different spacings of the rear and front bolt holes. I have a 12" DeWalt saw and this stand makes hauling it around real sweet. Also, setup for operation is really quick. The laser guide should not be an issue.

Answer:	I have a 10 inch sliding compound Makita on mine. I don't know that I'd go bigger or wider.

Answer:	I really can't see why it wouldn't, but I think there are better stands for the Dewalt 12 inch saw. Namely the Dewalt stand is better, stronger and just about the same price. If I had a 12 inch Dewalt compound saw, I would not be buying this stand. Do yourself a favor and read all the other remarks about issues with this stand including the one I gave an in depth solution to but should never have been an issue to start with. Good luck

Answer:	46" x 11" x 10 1/2" Know it because I saved the box. It ships in the original Makita box only, no extra shipping box.
Question:	Can you buy replacement foot pads
Answer:	I checked all of my most reliable parts dealers and could not find one that sells any parts for this stand. However, what I would do is measure the diameter of the leg and see if I could buy rubber chair leg cushions at Home Depot. Buy 4 and I think you will be in good shape.

Question:	My miter saws leg bolts are 14.5 inches apart. Anyone know if my saw will work
Answer:	David L. Miller answered correctly. The slots on the arm accepts a 15 inch span. So measure the distance between the bolt holes from front to back on your saw and make sure they are 15" or smaller and you're good. I have used this stand extensively this year. Its well worth the money. Very sturdy.

Answer:	Yes it seems to fit just fine with my 10" Dewalt Miter that I have. I would guess the 12" would be fine as well.

I use 3 different portahorse stands Black and Decker is a great stand for these clamps also Home Depot brand fold and travel, Menards also sells their own brand also I made my own stand for my work station. These clamps are great the handles on the sides make portability a major plus, they are a great value. I had purchased 4 sets to fit on my equipment.

Answer:	The top of the bench is about 3" thick, honeycomb thermoplastic, with a variety of clamping points. I usually clamp wood to the surface, and use my power tools in my hands. But the bench will hold hundreds of pounds and is very stable (I have stood on it - 220 lbs). This workbench is considered a mobile workbench, and is no match for a heavy metal tool stand. And how do you define a large saw, 12" comercial table saw, or power miter saw? Say the saw weighs 50 pounds. If you can clamp or bolt the your saw to the top, in my opinon it will hold the weight and stress of cutting standard wood pieces. If you are trying to cut railroad ties, it is probably not the right bench.
Question:	Did anyone consider the Worx Pegasus table? Why did you choose this one
Answer:	The biggest reason for me was this Keter has hole sections so you can the clamps vertically as well as horizontally. I didn't have much use for the saw horse components of the Worx Pegasus. I actually bought the adjustable leg keter that is now available since I am over 6' and no other folding table seems to get as high (34" to top of surface)

Answer:	the size is 33 1/4 " x 21 1/2 ". good work table. if anything happened to mine i would have to have another.

Answer:	It says 30 pounds and that's about right. Packed up, it feels like a heavy suitcase. To open it, the handles are at each end, about 36" span, but it's still liftable. My worry was being able to lift it well enough to control the legs while closing it up, as they have to fold correctly. Though I'm 60, I've found it's very manageable. I use it indoors. It's portable to outdoors but on a level surface, the legs don't adjust. I love this table. I can't imagine working without it.

Answer:	It stands almost nearly vertical when folded for transport. It’s only very slightly angled. About 85 degrees (just under a 90 degree right angle). This is important, because it redistributes downward force of weight. That’s a good thing. Of course, the saw is in the upright horizontal position when unfolded for for use.
Question:	Is it compatible with dewalt
Answer:	It may work, because it has some flexibility on mounting, but it is made for the Hitachi (now Metabo) saw. I would not assume it would work. Go with one made by DeWalt.
