Answer: It's gold, but a very light shade. Not gaudy. Still, these shoes kill my feet. The sides dig in. I need to trash them and start over.

Answer: I don’t wear a wide shoe, but I do have a wider foot and it was very roomy and I ordered my normal size. So if it was me I would not order the wide width.

Question: does this require assembling
Answer: It may work. If you want it flat, like a headboard, I’d secure it to the wall. If it’ll be freestanding, and on wooden flat surface, zigzag it like the photo on the left and it should work. It hits my bed about the 30 inches mark, which is about 2/3 up from the bottom panels ( but I have it between the side of my bed and my desk, which secures it in place). Good luck!
