| Answer: | It could work. You might want to add some padding between the seat and front of the bench to avoid pinched fingers. Also, the bottom is quite thin, so I wouldn't store anything too heavy in it. Shoes, clothes and stuffed animals should be fine. |

The interior storage area doesn't seem super strong. For a decorative piece, this works great for us, but if you are looking for something to sit on regularly, I'd say get something else. |
