Answer:	It's thin, but not transparent. If the monogram was dark enough, yes it could work.

Answer:	No! The material is very cheaply made. You honestly can't even walk on it without a heel going right through it. I wouldn't recommend this.

Answer:	We used it on lawn. I’m not sure how secure it would work on steps. You may have to get creative to keep it from having someone trip. Unless another customer that purchased has the answer.
