Answer:	At the time I bought the 1st one (2010) the warranty was 5 years. One of the controllers malfunctioned twice during that time. I called for advice about how I might repair them or request a new controller. Both times, they just offered to replace the whole mattress pad with a new one, no squabbling at all. Answer:	You use the bar at the bottom and just pull them down. When you want to lift you sort of pull them in an upward motion and the pulley system catches and hoists it up. 1 of my 3 is uneven and I’m still trying to figure out how to adjust or fix it.

Answer:	It’s a reasonably good adhesive for flat smooth surfaces, but does lose some ability to adhere with changes in humidity inside a house. We just glued it up when it began to come loose. It still works well. Where there was irregularity innthe surface of the window casing or wall, it did not adhere as well. So my answer to that question would have to be no.

Answer:	YES. It's washable. Mine fluffy after washed. The prodcut detail page says". Wash bi-annually in a front loader machine on a cool wash. *Please do not use a top loader machine as the agitators destroy the fibers. I guess those people whose mattress topper ripped because they put mattress topper in a top loader machine.
