Am not positive it wasn't mentioned in the directions or packaging, but my FULL XL size that I ordered came tightly wrapped in plastic inside of a box & to my surprise there was a very thin, almost papery thin cloth covering over the topper. I went ahead & left it on because it doesn't seem to hinder performance in any way.

Answer:	I had 5 level microsurgery on my C Spine 10 years ago. I now have low back pain with sciatica on the left. I have a Select Number bed with a pillow top. My low back and hips had too much pressure on the mattress causing poor sleep, constant changing position and pain. Since I put this on my bed, all of that is better, I sleep well. My mattress is firm but the mattress topper relieves pressure points. I love it. I don't know the density answer, but the 4 inches added makes a huge difference.

Answer:	Very confortable..no pain nor numbness.

Answer:	It is very soft and squishy would say soft to medium density. Have had 5 months and love only complaint is it does sleep on the warm side and I couldn't find a mattress pad that would allow it to still work it's memory foam magic, but the cover over the foam is high quality.

Answer:	No it does not. It's pretty safe and no chemicals. It will have a faint smell when you first unpacked it but it goes away in a few hours you air it out. Its normal because the product has been seal packed and has not been exposed to air. Bought two toppers for my teenagers, they love, it's still holding up its form.

Answer:	Yes, I place a bottom sheet over the topper and that's a personal preference for me. But, if you do order it, you may prefer it without a sheet.

Answer:	The packaging details did not specify whether the lavender scent was natural or synthetic. I can, however, tell you that both my husband & I have severe allergy & sinus problems but we were not affected by the lavender scent. It is very subtle & not over powering.

Question:	How do you put it together
Answer:	It comes rolled up and wrapped in plastic which you cut away very carefully. Then you roll it out and let it stand a few hours until it decompresses. Lay it on top of your regular spring mattress then use the quilted cover that came with it and put it on over the memory foam and your regular mattress. Then I put a regular sheet on top of the quilted cover.

Answer:	It would take 2 people to roll up a king size or queen and you would need to tie it on both ends and the middle; but it could be done. You would also need a big closet to store it in! Not a basement or anywhere musty because it would absorb the smell!

Answer:	you can carefully roll up and put in box. and if too small go to container store and get bigger box.

Answer:	The lavender topper actually smells like lavender. You could put a fitted sheet on it and just tuck the excess under. Just try to get a fitted sheet thats not extra deep for a better fit. I would recommend putting a waterproof mattress pad on it first and then the fitted sheet so as to protect it.

Answer:	Cool and comfortable. My husband, who sleeps hot, thought this was the best thing I had ever bought. I got it for our 5th wheel mattress, but now have plans to buy another one for our in house mattress. It is so comfortable and helps us sleep like a baby. I would recommend this mattress topper to everyone.
Question:	Who pays for return shipping
Answer:	It certainly softens a firm mattress. Some comments on here said it's like sleeping on a cloud but I don't really agree with that. It may feel like that initially but it settlers down a bit after awhile. Still feels wonderful & I can't imagine sleeping without it on the bed! I will always have it on the bed.

Answer:	It's only 30% bamboo and 70% polyester. I can't understand how people think it's better than polyester or cotton. Step 1: Unpack

Use RECCI cutter to carefully cut open the plastic seal and unroll the mattress topper.

Step 2: Remove

Unzip and remove the cover COMPLETELY, make sure the cover is totally separated from foam core so that it won’t prevent the topper from expanding.

Step 3: Expand

It’s highly recommended to place the bare foam core on a flat surface in a highly ventilated area for 24-48 hours until the foam core is fully expanded.

Step 4: Enjoy

Put the cover back on and start enjoying a better night sleep with RECCI!
