But before I opened the box I called ASUS elevated one last time, having called three times before about adding a Samsung SSD 850 EVO 1TB as a second internal storage device. On the third call I was told I could add the device. But I called again a forth time seeking specific installation advice about the installation of the SSD . That technician told me it was not possible because the second storage device would have to be an M2 SATA, which of course is a totally different size and connection. An HDD nor the 7 mm SSD was not possible. I returned the unopened laptop and as always Amazon's fantastic service allowed a free return. I question a company that cannot give accurate information about a product they make and sell.
