Answer:	I don't know about the warranty but the quality of this product has greatly diminished over time. I use it every day and it would last about 6 months. For about twenty bucks, that seemed reasonable. But now it barely lasts 3 weeks. I should say that the heat is fine, its the massage settings that stop working properly. If I could find something else with both heat and massage, I would choose that item.

Answer:	EVERY heating pad should say that in the instructions. Of course, many people do it any way but it raises the risk of you getting burned. You're trapping the heat against yourself as well as whatever surface the pad is on- bed, chair, etc. I have used a heating pad on my back for many years now, usually leaning against it and have been fine. However, I know other people who have been burned by theirs- my mother, who was receiving chemo, got a large burn on her back. Be smart about it- check the area often and allow it to cool off completely periodically if you need to lay/sit on it.
Question:	What temperatures do the three seatings heat the pad up to
Answer:	It looks like most of the other answers from 2017 and earlier showed their pads got hot, around 140 degrees, and all the answers from 2020 say the pad barely got warm. I just tried it out today and was disappointed that it wasn't getting hot. So I used my infrared digital thermometer (doesn't everyone have one due to COVID-19?) to check the temp, and the highest temp setting was only 104. Plan to return. The only thing this pad has to do is provide heat, and it doesn't.

Answer:	I did a chat with a customer service rep from sunbeam. You will need to still have the product. The customer service agent needs the numbers from the prongs. I only did the chat today. I am still waiting for an acknowledgement email. I will update my review and best of luck.

You might check with the manufacturer of the foam topper and see if a heated mattress pad would be okay. You might just need to put a regular mattress pad over it before you put the heated mattress pad on. This heated pad is really thick and nice and you never feel the wires or anything, it's very well-made.

Washing instructions: Do not dry clean, do not bleach! Do not use wringer for detachable pad, 1. Disconnect pad from outlet.2. Detach pad connector from the control connector. 3. Wash by hand or as follows in an automatic washer using slow agitation and normal spin speed: Fill washer with warm water. Add minimum amount of all purpose detergent, agitate to dissolve, measure heating pad before washing. Add heating pad and soak five minutes. Agitate two minutes. Spin. Fill for cool rinse, agitate one minute then spin. Dry in automatic dryer on high heat, five minutes only, or line dry. Remove damp heating pad from dryer, block to original size, and drape to finish drying. Do not iron your heating pad. 4. Do not plug in pad and pad connector until they are completely dry.

Question:	I've had heating pads that stay on for hours and I end up with a burn so bad, I have to go to the doctor. This one is different
Answer:	You can set this one to stay on or go off after 2 hours. If you leave it on you can set the heat level from 1 (warm) to 6 (hot) and it will maintain that heat level. So if you went to bed with it on #1 level it should not cause any burns. But if you sleep with it on the higher settings it could burn you.
Question:	Does this item have an an automatic shut off
Answer:	Yes. . . after 2 hours. But you can also choose to have it stay on forever. The control box contains a button that allows you to select continuous or shut off after 2 hours. The latter is the default; that is, no matter what you had chosen the last time you used it, the next time you turn it on, it will by default be set to turn off after 2 hours.
Question:	Does this unit maintain a constant heat
Answer:	Yes, there are 6 heat settings and it stays as hot as the setting as long as it's on. It heats up fast too! There is an automatic 2 hours shut off option, but you can change it to stay on until it is manually turned off. I like this heating pad a lot. And if you like it hotter, apply directly to skin. I used this for my back and it felt much hotter under my shirt than over it. The fabric soft feel was even comfortable directly on my back.
Question:	Does the cover slip n slide around?? And does the pad insides keep the same shape, no scrunching up
Answer:	No the cover does not slip and slide. For the most part, it keeps its shape....I can say that I use the the pads for my lower back, so sometimes the lower bottom curls up. I try to flatten it out when I am done. I bought 2 of these pads, one was the extra large and the other was the large. When I placed the order, it was for the large one until I found the extra large. I tried cancelling the order but it did not take and I received both. I could of returned it with no problem, but I like these pads so much that I kept both sizes and one is in the recliner and the other is on the sofa recliner. This is the best pad I have ever come across because of all of its features. I have a lot of aches and pains do to age and medical condition, so I have used a heating pad for years. The old ones would ripple and curl and I would have to work and straighten it out ever time I used it and I would have to be careful because it was really hot.

Answer:	No they do not and they are the worst set of kitchen scissors I ever had. They don’t stay sharp, they never did cut well Very Duel right from the start. . I gave mine away. I would not recommend to buy.
Question:	Used mine for under 2 months and it popped and quit working, is there a warranty
Answer:	Yes, that was the sole purpose of me buying these shears. They work great and are “very” sharp.
Question:	Considering this for my 93 yr old mother. Is it difficult to turn the dials on the controller
Answer:	I haven't tried it on those but for what I have used them on I can see no reason to suspect that they would not. Very tough and sharp
