Answer:	Yes, for an extra charge, there is a zippered removeable cover. Well worth the charge, as you can wash it and not have to wash the pillow. I love mine.

Answer:	I don't think this would work well as a leg pillow because it is not firm enough to hold the leg up. If you don't have a bed pillow to put under the leg, you could roll a thin blanket or a towel up to support the weight of a leg. I'm a Registered Nurse and have used both in the past to elevate an extremity.

Answer:	I believe it is the same content as their signature Coop pillows. I am not able to adapt to Memory Foam so I was still sensitive to the smell.

They do not come needing a wash, but some people like to do it. That said, the pillow will puff up a bit, and it will also shrink a bit with a wash as it is 100% cotton. However, if it's purchased with a pillow protector then it doesn't need to be washed at all since the cover can be washed instead and keeps out liquids, etc.! :-) I hope this was helpful! But It just doesn't have a lot of padding, it's a little on the thin side that's why we use it as a crib pillow for my son.
