Answer:	Check the images in the listing. It gives the dimension, but I think they may have listed the 10" dimensions for the 6" product. But you can see how they are measuring it. The 6, 8, 10 measurement is for the depth of the bracket.

Answer:	If by width you are referring to the front to back dimension, between the front and back bars, the space is 10 inches. The front vertical piece is 3 1/2"high, so if the box tapers, it can't be wider than 10-inches, up to that point, to properly fit into the bracket.

Answer:	The decorative brackets have an indentation at the top of each one. Once you have the metal brackets installed, simply match the top of the decorative bracket to the bottom of the metal bracket which is sticking out. Answer:	My best answer would be somewhat breathable. This is a thin pad that adds the perfect amount of cushion to the firmness of a memory foam. It's not real thick so I would say it's breathable.
