Answer:	Meghan, here is the best information I can give you.This comforter is 104" wide by 90" long. A standard king bed is 76" wide x 80" longTakes the 104" of the comforter less the width of the mattress which is 76" leaves you 28" divide that by 2 and you should have approx 14" of drop on each side ONCE the comforter relaxes and hangers for about a week. If you need more than 14" I would suggest looking for a larger comforter. Your little more expensive manufacturers make their king comforters 110" in width leaving you approx 17" in length but now I showed you how to calculate the drop so you can now purchase with confidence. Just verify the width of your bed because there is a King, Eastern King, Calif King and they all are different.Eastern King is 76x80, King 78x80, and CalKing is 72x84. Depends on mattress manufacturer what their standard King size is.. Same mattress manufacturers call 76x80 their KING but it's really an Eastern King... This may be why when you purchase King sheets some times they fit perfect and some times they are tight...
