Answer:	Theses were ment to be a gift so I wouldn't know how they fit. I had to send them back there were stains on them and in the box. If only for my use I could have washed them but never a gift. As I remember bumpers fit on top of the edge of the mattress , sheets don't take up that much room. Good luck!
