Answer:	I have used the larger ones on the outside of my camper and they held up for me. I only used them to hold average power cords draped along outside and dish towels, nothing heavy duty. Make sure the surface is clean and dry before applying and let them set as per directions before using them. As another user stated, these particular ones are very tiny so make sure to get ones for the job you need them for. Good luck.

Answer:	this is very small - barely holds the light cable, i tried to secure by pushing cable in and one of them broke. it will not hold cat5 cable. i used to hold Christmas wrapping ribbons - created a loop at each corner. I recommend the larger hooks for holding Christmas lights etc. as far as cat5 cables, i would look for completely different options.

You must follow directions exactly for them to work. Yes, they work ! I live in Michigan, so yes they held up in the cold and snow. It takes time to put them up as you have to hold each one in place for 30 sec and not put anything on them for 1 hr, so start ahead of time. I love them ! They are still there, end of Jan., -25 degrees and 2 ft of snow.

Answer:	My suggestion would be to go to 3M . Com and look up their corporate information and supply chains or to email them .

Answer:	No. The plastic clip opens to accept about a 3/8" - 1/2" diameter wire, etc. then returns to secure the cable.

Answer:	I believe you might have a problem with a textured surface, since the Command adhesive system is pressure sensitive, the more surface area you have in contact with the adhesive strip, the better the adherence. Another factor is the surface to which you are attaching must be clean - this is with any adhesive. With a textured surface you have hills and valleys. If you already have the clips you might try removing the liner on the "wall" side tab and placing it where you wish to mount your hook and then, prior to removing the liner from the hook side of the tab, roll over the tab with a roller to attempt to reshape the tab to better match the contour of your textured surface. When this is accomplished, remove the liner from the hook side of the tab and press the hook FIRMLY against the newly exposed adhesive surface. Always remember these are "pressure sensitive" adhesive systems. - so definitely apply pressure, it will make for a better bond. Wait at least an hour before hanging anything from your newly installed hook. You might also contact 3M at 1-800-934-7355 Command.com - which I found on the back of another packet of hooks I have not yet installed. I will say that I have had nothing but success with the many Command System hooks I have installed both indoors and outdoors.

Answer:	I used them on windows. They stayed in place in rainy and snowy weather. Came off easily when tabs were pulled correctly. I always use a little window cleaner to clear away dust and grime that may have gathered around outline of the clip.

Used them for holding seasonal decorations to porch posts, siding, window frame, etc. If you follow the directions and clean the area with alcohol, then let them rest for a little while before hanging anything on them. they will stay through all 4 seasons. Some of mine have been up for nearly 2 years. and still are easily removed. I use to hold decorative bows and banners, Christmas Lights (up to 3 strings worth) and work well with garland too. Mind you I set one every 8 to 10 inches for the strings of lights. Do not expect to hold up a whole string of lights with just a couple of these.

Answer:	I do not think this would stick to fabric . A better solution might be small wooden clothes pins painted the same color as the umbrella or small hair clips, chip clips, metal paper binder clips , etc . You have to. Insider the wind and water for an outdoor space .

Answer:	To be honest, no. This item can only hold a limited amount of weight and an aluminum coffee cup might be too heavy. I don't recommend buying these. Try Command Wire Hooks Value Pack, Medium, White, 7-Hooks (17068-7ES). The hooks themselves are small as well.

Answer:	I have no idea. All Command hooks are rated for weight-per-hook, on the package. You'll have to do the multiplication to find out, relating the wall weight to the hook capacity. If you're putting up an entire wall of some kind, no matter how thin, it would be wiser to use heavy-duty hooks (check the hardware section) that screw at least 1 1/2 inches directly into wood, and screw them into a series of wall joists. Or screw the design wall frame directly into the wall joists at least every 2 feet vertically, and into every wall joist horizontally. Holes are easy to fill in when you take it down, and the thing won't fall down down wreck your living room and/or you.
Question:	Can you use this to suspend items form the ceiling? It looks like the wire part *might* rotate enough but I can't be sure

Answer:	No, they do not and would not work for a tapestry! I purchased them to hang up christmas lights which slip right into the clip. I actually just hung up a tapestry in my room using the Command utenstil hooks because there's a strong metal hook at the end that really works well for the weight of my large tapestry. However to use them I did cut small slits in my tapestry, but they're small and unnoticeable.

Answer:	Yes follow the instruction but give the clip more time to set after getting it in place before you run your cable through.Coax will be better to run through the opening rather than push up under the clip if you can.If you have to push up under the clip and can't run the cable through be very careful and gently push the cable while putting a little pressure with your thumb on the clip lip to open.

Answer:	No they wouldn't. Don't buy. They won't even hold a baseball hat. These are worthless. Just get some magnetic strip and glue it to the back of your calendar. That's what I do.
