Answer:	I don't think the other people know what they are speaking of. The C7 bulbs are 110v so these strings run all the bulbs in parallel. You could cut the string shorter, but you would want to weatherproof the cut end. Also make sure to keep both individual wires separate if attempting this.On the other hand if you have to ask this question, then modifying electrical circuits should be left to the professionals.
Question:	is there elastic at the wrist to hold the sleeves up on short arms
Answer:	I have purchased strands to hold C9 twinkling bulbs several times over the past several years. Some come with replaceable fuses and some don't. I string up to six or seven together and sometimes they blow a fuse. Fuses are easy to replace but it is a warning. I try not to use the non fuse strings in more than two together. They have 25 bulbs per string and are sold without the bulbs. It is good to ask if they have fuses as that solves the problem. I have been pleased with all of them but don't know for sure where they all came from. Novelty lights are the most recent and have been good. They also have the twinkle bulbs which are hard to find now. They are replacing strands that are more than 50 years old that are finally breaking down. Nothing is made like that anymore.

What worked best for me was to cut a single opening through the bushing, then pry the bushing open just enough to slip the cables through. Good quality caulk to seal as the bushing is being inserted into the wall, and ensuring that the cut opening faces downward for any possible moisture to not drain inside also helps.

The arm buttons don't stay buttoned though, and for me they were not in the correct spot, so I removed them and just wear this as a cape. Answer:	As this product uses WING-LATCHES to attached to the wall-board, no gang box or gang frame is needed. However, it uses a standard 2-gang cut-open on the wall-board - but no other parts are needed for installation. If you have installed a gang box, it will need to be removed in order to use this product. Remember, this is a LOW VOLTAGE use product and should never be used for 110v power components.
