Answer:	On a scale of 1-10, 1 being it sucks humidity out of the air, 10 being it merely being around is enough to make water roll away I'd say 6. If the blanket is outside and it starts raining, go get it then curl up in it and be dry and warm, but don't leave it outside. I bought this blanket and I'm very happy about it

Answer:	For item code 7210-00-282-7950 It weighs three pounds, nine and three eighth ounces i.e. just over three and a half pounds (sorry for writing this in full but the spell checker on this site keeps correcting the numbers to letters) and the instructions on it say "MACHINE WASH, GENTLE COOL TEMP. ADD FABRIC SOFTNER (sic) TO FINAL RINSE, TUMBLE DRY, LOW HEAT". I haven't washed it yet so I don't know how it works out if you follow the instructions.

Answer:	The an answer from the seller is incorrect, Wool is naturally fire Resistant and not fire retardant. Flame resistant fabrics are made from materials that are inherently nonflammable - the materials have flame resistance built into their chemical structures. Fabrics made with these types of materials are designed to prevent the spread of fire and will not melt or drip when in close proximity to a flame. Because flame resistant fabrics are not usually made from 100% flame resistant materials, they will burn, but will do so very, very slowly and are often self-extinguishing. Flame retardant fabrics are chemically treated to be slow burning or self-extinguishing when exposed to an open flame. These fabrics can be made from any material, but they must be treated with special chemicals to qualify as flame retardant. Treatments of this materials will degrade over time and in many places if using this types of fabrics in public fire marshal will cut a piece of the test fabric that is attached to this main material and due a burn test.

Answer:	I personally really liked the smell it had upon arrival. Very nice natural wool smell. My husband did not like it and said it was stinky. We’ve had the blanket in use now for 5 months and there is no smell whatsoever. My husband loves the blanket now just as much as me. I would say the smell has been gone for awhile now. Maybe it took 2 months or so. Definately will go away though. We did not wash it.

Answer:	I am retired Navy and once a avid out doormen I am 86 and over the years i have never wore anything for winter in the wood or out other than Pendleton, Now that I am old and like my warm butt by the fire side i snuggle up in a Pendleton 100% wool blanket only. My Best Hunting Coat Use to be Woolrich but they have gone like many to cheaper labor, and quality . Quality Wool is what made them Famouse, How ever The old Name Mackinaw, after Makinaw Michigan. Made by Filson is my top choice now, But Other than those items it Pendleton always.

I really like the blanket and the Ivory color is lovely.

Answer:	Yes, I grew up with these blankets in New England. 50 degrees isn’t really cold so I believe with pajamas and a cotton sheet you’d be quite toasty (as long as it’s not windy).

Answer:	I cut mine up to make a capote so I don’t recall where it was made BUT I can tell you I am very happy with my purchase. It is a nice medium weight. Washed and dried well. And was downright comfy as a wrap. I plan on purchasing another in fact.

Answer:	Wash wool with care. I never over-dry. I never use fabric softener. Wool can shrink. Allow to finish drying hanging over a chair or some such thing.

Answer:	The blanket indicates it is "made in France" and is a very nice wool. That said I presume that Poyet Motte uses it's country of origin wool. Enjoy
