Answer:	??? Cover on the item I ordered and received was a nice washable poly cotton just as pictured. Not slippery at all. Sounds like they might of sent wrong product or version of product.

Answer:	I use two king size pillow cases, wrap them around pillow and pin two cases together. Works great, and you can take them off to wash when ever you need to. You can also take them to an upholstery shop and have a vinyl cover made that is a permanent cover. That’s what I did for pillow I gave a friend.

Answer:	No. I am sensitive to foam smells and it was fine for me.

Question:	What is the density of the memory foam layer that is ontop of the wedge
Answer:	The foam is thick and comfortable. I was afraid that my legs would sink into the wedge like the 2 pillows that I used to use. I'm 6'2" 245 pounds. The wedge supports my legs comfortably. I'm very happy with the pillow. I'm going to buy a second one for the sofa. I only wish that the wedge was cheaper and that it came with an extra cover. Since the cover is white it gets dirty. the good thing is that the cover comes off and is put back on very easily after I wash it.

Answer:	the tags say 100% polyurethane foam. the cover material does stretch a bit if you pull on it- looks and feels kind of like a doubleknit polyesther material.

Answer:	When I measured mine it was up against the wall so it was exactly 11 and a half inches. I am 5 foot two and 120 pounds. I was thinner and since I got Fibromyalgia the weight is mostly in my bottom and stomach. Sorry to be so blunt but I think it is important to know when you are trying to know where the weight is going to be on the pillow. It is good for me but the pillow is a good fit but wish the part for the legs was a little longer cuz the heels hang over. The leg part is 15 and my legs are 17 and a half. So you could measure that part. However, that is just a preference and not a deal breaker. I love the pillow and if you are considering it I would still get it unless you or the person is very tall.

Answer:	The question cracks me up because here I am in a leg cast...anyway, back to how firm it is. It is just about perfect if you are looking to elevate legs in a cast, or if you have circulation issues. Would be great for people with varicose veins. There is minimal give; enough to put your legs on it and not have them roll, but enough firmness to make them remain elevated. I am a 5 foot 9 inch tall woman and it is just what I needed. I would not get w/out a cover as the material gets easily frayed. We had an old laundry bag and that worked perfectly as a cover so we didn't need to purchase one.

Answer:	I am so sorry but only Time will get rid of the smell. It is made of a petroleum type material and known for off gassing. I found out about it a long time ago when bought a memory foam bed topper. Returned it as made me sick just the little bit I was around it. Retuned of course. Myself looking for one of these bed leg rests and so far only ONE states its safe from gassing. Look for the big round Yellow circle of its certified. Now looking for it forget its name. If it really bothers you return, if not place in a unused room. Maybe you will be lucky and wont take long to off gas.

Question:	Does the encasing help against dust mites and bed bugs
Answer:	When i got this pillow i realized that was going to be an issue so i cut up an old sheet and made a couple of squares large enough to cover the sleeping side and tuck in all around. Works all right considering i didn't sew them and keeps the surface clean. i haven't contacted InteVision but i imagine they sell replacement covers.
Question:	Can the memory foam be removed
Answer:	I'm 6'1" and 350 lbs. Not a bad wedge but I need to find a bigger one, all around. I like the wedge to start just at my lower back and it is too short for me. So I have to put a pillow vertical between the wall/headboard and the wedge and then rest a bed pillow on that to hold up my head. Also I found that the pillow flattens too much for me, so I have ended up putting a pillow under the wedge to make it incline a little more. Lastly, it is not wide enough to support my arms as much as I would like. I'm now thinking about buying the Avana Slant Bed Wedge or maybe other brands I have found.
Question:	Do you need a standard pillow on the top
Answer:	Oh, I am a side sleeper too. It can be done to sleep on the wedge on your side but only in short segments. I found it too uncomfortable for lengthy periods and you have to experiment to find the OK bend point. I bought the wedge to use following surgery and later used it during brief periods of acid reflux or bad colds w/ sinus drainage. I have discovered that on my back on the wedge I am somewhat more comfortable with a small pillow or rolled up towel under my lower neck & tops of my shoulders. I hope this helps.
Question:	which size is the Large one
Answer:	I have used both. I purchased the 12" first but found the incline too much. I slid down when using it all night as well as when using it for TV, etc. I returned the 12" and purchased the 7.5" which is perfect for me. I do not slide when sleeping on it, with or without a pillow, and the support is great for my neck and back. I do add a couple pillows when I want to sit up more and maintain good neck position. For me, the 7.5" is a better fit and more versatile. It is also easier to set aside or store when I am not using it. Also, if you are unsure about which is right for you, the return shipping is free and I received a full refund even after using the product. If you do return a wedge, I recommend building or buying a large box as they are shipped highly compressed in a plastic wrap.

Answer:	Unfortunately, I'm not sure if it is USA made or not. But what I do know is that it serves its purpose.

Answer:	The pillow is a wedge. It is length is 23.5 inches; the width is 21 inches; height is 8 inches. The flat top of the pillow above the wedge is about 12 inches. I wish I had ordered this before knee replacement. Once I ordered it I used it when my knee was iced and to elevate it to keep swelling down.

Answer:	As far as I know, there was only one size listed which was 8 inch elevation. I am about 5 feet and have heavy legs and this was perfect for me.

Answer:	I think so. I have this one and the DMI ortho bed wedge. I actually prefer the DMI one and think it would be better for a shorter person. The slope isnt as long so shorter thighs would fit better. Also this one your feet hang off, which isn't comfortable for me to sleep with. I was very happy to have both though. That way I could try out both when I was hurting after the surgery to see what felt better.
