Answer:	Its a pretty large piece of foam rubber. In a chair it might raise your legs higher than comfortable. My recliner already raises legs a bit. Another 8 inches would be too much. However, this pillow makes a good backrest to use with another pillow in bed.

Answer:	??? Cover on the item I ordered and received was a nice washable poly cotton just as pictured. Not slippery at all. Sounds like they might of sent wrong product or version of product.

Answer:	I use two king size pillow cases, wrap them around pillow and pin two cases together. Works great, and you can take them off to wash when ever you need to. You can also take them to an upholstery shop and have a vinyl cover made that is a permanent cover. That’s what I did for pillow I gave a friend.

Question:	Your product does not inflate. i slept last night in discomfort. i had to sleep without your product. it did not inflate
Answer:	I tried to get by with different pillows but this works much better because it's shaped to fit between your knees or calves or thighs so that it stays there while you sleep. Also the memory foam is very soft and conforms to your body which helps much if you have an injury. I have a steel plate in my femur and this gives the padding I need to get comfortable that I couldn't get with other pillows. If you're trying to heal, this really helps.

Answer:	The pillow can be used however it's most comfortable. Place higher up between your upper thighs to take pressure off your knees or try if directly between your knees. Sleep with legs straight, bent, what have you. I'm a side-sleeper so this has helped s great deal along with a more heavy memory foam type pillow to support my head/neck too. My hips have been out of alignment (for who knows what reason) causing sciatica pain to knock me down a peg or two so this relief is awesome!

Answer:	yes you will need it to expand but that was just minutes before i could use it. maybe overnight gets ever bit of firmness available but i used mine right away. the outer cover is soft yet the pillow provided a firm cushion for my healing knee. i wish the handles were more convenient but they are there for carrying or adjusting under your leg(s). i would buy it again.

Answer:	The pillow is shaped like a U the sides are 9" tall while the part that your legs rest in is 6" tall. The front of the pillow starts at 0 and then slopes up to the 6" platform. Your thighs (hamstrings) rest on that slope and your legs rest on the platform. I have purchased many types of wedges and lumbar pillows to help with lower back pain. This is by far the best support I have purchased. I purchased this one in anticipation of an upcoming knee surgery and the need to elevate my knee above my heart but have been pleasantly surprised to find that it elevates my lumbar pain as well. I don't think being short will lessen the effectiveness of the pillow. I'm 6 feet tall and my feet hang off the end slightly. If you are shorter you will just have your feet completely supported. I highly recommend the pillow and if it doesn't work for you, Amazon's return policy is amazing.
