Question:	how long do they last
Answer:	Not sure how long they last yet. I've only had it for about a month. It seems to be very well made, and I expect it to last at least as long as a normal pillow. The fill is dense, and seems like it won't clump up as fast as a normal pillow.
Question:	I am a side-sleeper. Sometimes my ears hurt after a night of sleeping on them. Does the trapezoid indentation prevent this from happening
Answer:	The trapezoid indentation is so low, that I'm unable to place my head in the indentation without my head tilting in an awkward / downward angle. The instructions to the pillow indicate that the areas to the left and right of the indentation are used for side sleeping. I've found these areas are unusally firm and my ears become sensitive after several hours of sleeping on these areas. In addition, after 2 - 3 months of using the pillow I believe the "small" version might have been better for me (I'm 5'5" tall).
Question:	is this pillow so firm that when sleeping on your side your ear begins to throb
Answer:	Yes it does. I often find myself switching off sides I sleep on throughout the night because of it.
Question:	Can anyone tell me when sleeping on your side if your head slides back into the center of the pillow and if it does- does it affect your neck pain
Answer:	For those saying their head slides back into the middle when sleeping on their side, perhaps they need the softer version or the smaller version of this pillow. I've had this pillow for 5 or so years now and am planning to replace it with the same. My chiropractor had these in his office and offered a free trial. It does take a little bit of adjustment/getting used to, but waking up with a blazing headache has practically ceased. I used to wake up with them two to three days per week and now if I'm unlucky, once per month. For me, this pillow has been a godsend.

Question:	Has anyone had any success using the D-core pillow for side sleeping? Are you suppose to turn the pillow vertically? Sides seem way too high
Answer:	I sleep on my side most of the night and it seemed too high at first for me too but my neck must have gotten used to it and now I don't notice which side of the pillow I sleep on (I flip it every night). I have slept with my head in the middle between the two sides and on each side. I can't sleep on any other kind of pillow without neck aches so this pillow is a life saver for me. I've never had a neck injury, I just noticed my neck being stiff all the time and cracking when I would drive. I don't have either of those things happening now.

Answer:	This is a fairly thick and firmer type of neck pillow. There are a lot of other fiber neck pillows on the market today where there is more give to the pillow. If you have a herniated disc, consider a traction pillow where the pillow will give your neck a gentle stretch as well when you are sleeping on your side or back. None of these pillow works well for stomach sleepers.
Question:	Anyone know the difference between a D-core and Tri-core pillow
Answer:	I actually wrote the company and asked them, and this is the answer I got from one of their customer service representatives : “Hello – The difference between the two would be the price.  The D-Core is a more economical version of the tri-core.  The Tri-core would most likely stand up lone han the D-core.” I Assume that she meant “longer than” the D-Core, But if the company sells a more expensive product, then normally they advertise the features and benefits of that “better” or more “long-lasting” product.

Answer:	Thank you for your question. This pillow is filled with 100% virgin polyester fiber. The pillow is packaged in a sealed plastic bag that isn't vacuum sealed but it is compressed before it is sealed so it may still be somewhat compressed.

Answer:	Tri-Core May make a different pillow, too. I don’t know. But all of the Outlast Tri-core pilles have the same technology, as far as I know. That would be a good Customer Service Question.

Question:	What are adjustable lobes? What fiber is in the pillow
Answer:	Material: not listed on product. It seems like polyester fiber. The lobes do not move separate from the pillow, but you change entire pillow position for comfort. When sleeping flat, put lobes up for better comfort. When sitting, I keep them resting on my shoulders so the pillow provides support back and sides. Very comfortable. I use it every day, especially riding in a car to support my neck.
Question:	Is this better than the travel pillows you usually see at the airport
Answer:	I haven't been in an airport in 15 years, so I don't know what they sell. The travel core fiber pillow is recommended by my chiropractor and it's very comfortable. I sleep with it because I don't like pillows.

Answer:	You would have to get a pillowcase for this. I just use a regular pillow case.

Answer:	The travel pillow is much less dense. I'm a bit dissapointed with it and end up supplementing if I want to sleep on my side. Very light neck support of you are a back sleeper.

Answer:	One is more firm than the other. Takes a while to get used to it but I love mine and carry it everywhere on trips. Really helped my neck. Highly recommend it.

Answer:	I think they were about 2 1/2 ". I'd measure it but I threw it out after about a month. Just couldn't sleep with it

Answer:	The cores on this one are not removable. One side is extra firm and one side is firm, if this is what you are looking for, that will be fine. Just use the side that you prefer!

Answer:	The pillow doesn't work well for side sleepers. The curve at the bottom of the pillow is a ridge that goes under your neck. Then your head basically sits in a padded cradle. This would not work well for side sleepers.

Answer:	Yes, the pillow can be hand washed. The instructions say: Hand was cold with mild soap. Dry flat, do not machine dry. Do not use chlorine additives.

Answer:	Ok for small person but the neck roll was too hard for me

Answer:	To answer your question, the tube piece that fits under the neck appears to be stuffed with cotton. This is very thick and rigid, but breaks down over time. The reminder I’ve the pillow is the standard cotton fill.

Question:	Is the cover on this product like the same material used in a pillow case, or is it velour? Velour is very abrasive, like the one I have
Answer:	I didn't smell any formaldehyde or any smell whatsoever, but I really don't know. I don't think so. It has a very light varnish on the edges, but doesn't seem to be coated with anything where the silverware goes.
Question:	Is this softer than memory foam? I’m looking for a soft pillow. Memory foam is much too hard for me

Answer:	I have only had less than one year, and we are not really hard on our stuff, but this appears to be very sturdy and I expect it to hold up several years for us. It fits perfectly from side to side, but is not quite as deep in my drawer. I think if I stabilize the organizer to keep it from sliding backwards, It really should have no reason to wear out, in my opinion.
Question:	does this come with a cover
Answer:	The side expansions cannot be removed. There is a built in stop so it does not come completely apart. That being said, the center section measures 13 1/2 inches. This is a well built design.
