Answer:	I think it says somewhere that you need to have a slat base, with the slats no more 4" apart. But if you have an adjustable frame, you can probably put some slats in there yourself.

Question:	Does this pillow have the Sleep Innovations tag on it? I've read conflicting answers on these reviews. The one I just used at a friend's house had it
Answer:	I know this is an old question (it's 2019 now) but it was the first that popped up under most helpful. I just received mine today, I laid it on top of things in the bedroom closet to air out overnight, though it really doesn't have too much of a smell ( a new plastic shower curtain has more) I did notice a few tiny tears while moving it around so you have to be careful. I think when I pulled on it to adjust it that made them happen. It is not as dense as my last one I've had for 5 years, but more dense than some others. It's decent quality. I'll have to see how much it gives when I sleep on it.

I'm in my 60's and I was able to bring it upstairs....The way to do it with these mattresses in the box is to take it out of the box, DO NOT UNWRAP IT... and just flip it up the stairs end to end until you get it to the top. Then keep flipping it or roll it to the room.

Answer:	Upon first opening it did have "that smell". But the smell subsided after being opened for a few days. This is being used on my sons college dorm bed and there have been no complaints of it moving around on the bed but he also uses a mattress pad over the top of it so that may help to keep it in place.

Answer:	I couldn't tell you to be honest I got it this summer and it was in a box. It was rolled up into a cylinder it was pretty small I had it shipped with a mattress cover and it fit in a large medium size box
Question:	what is the density of this topper
Answer:	The foam has precise square edges which makes it likely that they were cut in the manufacturing process. Do you have access to or know anyone who has a foam cutter. Likely places to check are upholstry shops (they cut and trim foam all the time as a regular part of their business.You would probably be better off looking for a standard sized pad which is much closer in size to 71 inches (I think the standard size is 72 inches, but double check they usually tell you that in the manufacturers specs) . You may be able to get away with evenly distributing the slight overhang of a standard size pad and tuck press it under a fitted sheet. That may work out well if the bed has a headboard and footboard, or if you use bedspreads. In my opinion the texture and the density of the foam are sufficient for professional cutting with a heated blade cutter, but would prove to be far more difficult to get a clean edge when cutting with shears. Personally, I would pass on this pad because it is an XL, (extra long)

Question:	Will this be long enough to use on a queen-sized bed? I want to use it as a head pillow
Answer:	Firmness or softness is subjective to the user. What is firm to one sleeper may be just right or soft to another. The pillow does seem to have gotten softer with use but is still supportive or perhaps it was just firmer when it arrived due to the cold as I purchased it this past winter. The pillow should be placed in another pillowcase other than the case that is included with the pillow. I am a sort of on the side more toward the belly sleeper and this is a great pillow. If you are sleeping on a feather pillow or some other lesser quality pillow from a discount store, this pillow will not be as soft. It is a quality pillow. I suggest that you purchase and decide for yourself.UPDATE 04/09/13 - This pillow has gotten considerably softer and I am not thrilled with the purchase. The gel is also not as cool. If you like a soft pillow this might be the one for you but I wanted a more firm and cooler pillow. This pillow is just OK. Downgraded to 3 stars.

Question:	what is the thickness at the higher end
Answer:	Yes, I use regular pillow cases with these pillows. I have 3 of them and really like them. They are a good height and firmness. The one side has kind of a waffle print on it so I don't think would be comfortable to sleep on without a pillow case over it. Hope this helps!
Question:	I saw that some people said it wasn't as firm. How does it compare to a temper pedic
Answer:	It's not the same pillow that I bought at a retail store although the name is exactly the same....The retail is a much better quality. Wish I hadn't bought this over the internet. If you could feel the difference you would replace it now!
Question:	Some reviews say this pillow is not as firm or thick as earlier ones. Has anyone purchased this in the past few months? Quality
Answer:	The queen size is longer (28 inches) than the standard size (22 inches). It is also a tiny bit (0.2 inches) thicker. It will fit in a standard pillowcase but it is almost as long as the case is so there is barely any overhang. I have both sizes and like them both. They allow for a comfortable sleep. I also think they are cooler than a normal pillow in hot weather.
Question:	What are the measurements
Answer:	Initially Firm. I have been using them for about 3-4 weeks. Like all pillows, they loosen up more after use. So, after 3-4 weeks they are more like "medium firm". Your head will leave a shallow dent but not be immersed in pillow :-)

Answer:	You will have a tight fit. I have discovered that, if I roll the case up like you would nylon hosiery to put it on, the case will work over the pillow better. This pillow is NOT like the first one I had which I really loved. It does not conform good and is hard.
