User questions & answers
Question: | How many Watts does the air Pump have |
Answer: | The label on the pump says 110-120V at 0.9A, so that would mean 108W. (Additionally, some others have said that it takes about 5 minutes to inflate, so that means about 9 Wh consumed.) |
Question: | What would cause it to keep going completely flat over ight |
Answer: | Instabed makes an air mattress with a second built in pump that senses a loss of air pressure and automatically adds more air. If your bed is going completely flat it probably has a leak. But it's normal for an air bed to deflate a little for two reasons. The air pressure in it can drop in colder temperatures at night, causing the air to condense and the bed look deflated. A new air mattress will always look a little deflated after a couple days because the material stretches out. That's what it's designed to do. |
Question: | Any suggestions on how to clean it from urine smell |
Answer: | How do you clean it if it was accidentally peed on? |
Question: | is it returnable |
Answer: | The seller will charge you $22.00 to return it. That is half the price of the airbed. READ THE SELLERS RETURN POLICY |

User questions & answers
Question: | How large is it when deflated? Does it fit back into the box it comes in |
Answer: | It's not 92 pounds. Closer to 40. I've carried this upstairs into hotels and used it camping many times. Though I'd like to think I'm a beast, it's not even close to that 92 pound weight. Don't worry, it's light enough for the average person to carry around easily. Plus it has wheels on one side of the bag for pulling it. (At least mine does) |
Question: | does this come with a pump |
Answer: | Yes. The whole bed (including the frame) fold up and pack into a bag that's about the size of a small tent bag. (18inx18inx42in) |
Question: | Has anyone purchased the "queen" only to find out its not at all thw size its supposed to be and instead is a full? Is this normal |
Answer: | After reading these answers I thought, heck I could convince my husband to try it as a regular cot if he's opposed to the air mattress while we're camping. After seeing this in action, there is a cover for the air mattress to slip into that is sewn on. Because it has a bunch of material (to accommodate an inflated mattress) it might be a bit uncomfortable to use as a cot with just sleeping bags on it. Having it filled with air was awesome. We put a queen fitted sheet over it, covered it again with a flat sheet and our sleeping bags on top for a very comfortable night. |
Question: | Can you inflate with an external pump? (In a no electricity campsite |
Answer: | Not terrible, I camped for a week last year on it and shared it with my 3 year old son. We were the last to arrive so naturally we were the last to be able to get an ideal spot. We had to pitch our tent on a downward slant. The frame held up fine and there were no issues, except getting in and out. It would tilt according the weight placement, but sleeping was fine, no constant bouncing up and down everyone someone rolled over. But then again it was just me and a 37lb child. I'm a 5'10" female that is neither underweight nor overweight...not sure how two adults in it would be...but if you know any single males with a good job, enjoys camping, and likes kids that talk in their sleep, let me know! |

User questions & answers
Question: | Can I set a specific day this item to be deliver |
Answer: | Yes via prime |
Question: | Does thid mattress have. Fiber tech |
Answer: | Only on the top. And I would get last years model, more comfy |
Question: | good for full time bed |
Answer: | It comes with a built in electric air pump to inflate/deflate. Be careful not to over inflate!!! When the instructions say 3 minutes, they mean THREE minutes. As stated in the instructions, the first time you inflate, it will appear to lose air, as the product finishes stretching out. Follow the instructions on when to add a little more air. I use a lot of Intex inflatables, mattresses, pillows, kayaks included. My mattresses that I use DAILY last at least 3-4 years. And I only need to add minimum additional air 3 or 4 times a year. My mattress that I use less often-for camping only, must be at least 8 yrs old now, and doesn’t need topping off on air after I inflate it, like my previous camping mattresses did. My kayak, which I use 3 or 4 times a week, April through October, just finished its 4th year, and is ready to start year 5 in a couple months. The most common reason for problems with the Intex inflatables, are due to not following inflating instructions and over inflating. In the opinion of this indoor/outdoor inflatable enthusiast, the Intex brand of inflatables are the best on the market for value, durability and being easy to use. |

The Comfort Plush Twin Airbed is a part of the Dura-Beam series of airbeds that are providing amazing durability for years of lasting comfort. The secret is in the Fiber-Tech beam construction, which is comprised of thousands of high-strength polyester fibers that provide enhanced comfort, stability and support. Each bed is covered in plush flocking that is soft to the touch, and the horizontal air chambers provide added stability and support around the entire bed. The mattress is also equipped with a quality-tested, 20.8-gauge waterproof flocked top with 15-gauge vinyl beams and 16-gauge sides and bottom for durability. And best of all, the Comfort Plush mattress is remarkably easy to inflate thanks to the built-in, high-powered electric pump, which does its job in a mere 3-1/2 minutes. No more fussing with tiring hand or foot pumps or rummaging through the garage for your detached electric pump. And should the mattress feel a little too soft or firm, you can customize the comfort level with the touch of a button. The Comfort Plush is raised 13 inches from the floor, making it taller than most inflatable mattresses. And at 39 by 13 by 75 inches (W x H x L), the mattress is an official Twin size, making it a good fit for fitted sheets. The Comfort Plush Twin bed--which offers a capacity of 300 pounds--is a terrific choice whether you're sleeping at the in-law's overcrowded house or setting up a guest bed in the basement. The mattress comes with an AC power cord and a duffel bag (for storage). Regarding Inflation: Measurements will vary based on the manner in which it is inflated and packaging disclaims “approximate size”. Airbeds are measured from the widest point including the beams (bulges) on the side and off the tallest point from the floor including built-in pillows if applicable. Location, temperature, and humidity will affect the airbed’s firmness. Airbeds will need to be occasionally re-inflated (topped off) to maintain desired firmness when used for more than a few days as vinyl tends to relax over time. If electrical power is not available then a separately operated pump can be connected to the control valve for inflation: simply turn the control dial to the inflation symbol, insert the air pump nozzle into the valve at the center of the control dial, and inflate the airbed.
- Inflatable Twin airbed for home use, engineered with Fiber-Tech Construction

User questions & answers
Question: | is this only for an electric outlet to inflate?? or can u use a blower that you inflat with the charger outlet in your car for camping |
Answer: | If electrical power is not available then any Intex inflation pump (manual, battery, DC...etc) can be connected to the control dial valve for inflation. Turn the control dial clockwise until the arrow points to the inflation mark. Insert the air pump nozzle into the control dial value to inflate.by Intex Consumer Support |
Question: | can you plug this out after inflating |
Answer: | Yes, I usually just leave these plugged in all the time. But word to he wise. i bought twin and then queen and both do not hold air. There are no leaks just very cheap. One star only |
Question: | Has anyone brought this on a plane to use in a hotel? Is it worth the trouble? How large is it packed |
Answer: | We do this all the time as we have 3 kids and most hotels only want 2. We put the air mattress, sleeping bag, sheet and pillow in a duffle bag and check it on the plane. I also put in a $5 vinyl table cloth to put on the hotel floor so it stays clean. The only problem is if we check in at 11 pm as the electric pump is loud (but only 2 min). |
Question: | Does it have a built-in pillow? Don't understand those things, can't stand them |
Answer: | No pillow. You will enjoy it pillow free. |

To quickly and easily deflate the bed, plug the bed in, pull out the defalte valve, turn the knob to the right to open, and turn on. Watch as the bed deflates just as quickly as it inflated. When the air mattress is emptied, turn the knob back to the left, push it in, and turn the pump off. Fold your bed up for storing in the included carry bag, and you're all set!
Cord Storage Compartment
EnerPlex air beds are designed for complete ease of use. Beyond the bed's simple fold-up design and included carry bag, when your bed is not in use or being stored, stow the cord out of sight. A specially designed snap open compartment included in the built-in pump allows you to easily fold up and slip the cord inside. No more cords tripping you up as you walk around the room.
Coil Beam Construction
With a proprietary coil beam construction, the EnerPlex air mattress provides firm support for proper spinal alignment. The result? All of the comfort of your regular mattress, with the convenient space-saving size of an air mattress. Welded seams will ensure that your bed stands the test of time (plus EnerPlex offers a 2 year quality promise!).
Raised Profile - Anti-Slip Bottom
A 16" profile provides the perfect height to easily get out of bed. Start your day off right by rolling over and standing up with minimal effort. The sturdy build and raised profile make it easy to get in and out, and an anti-slip bottom prevents the air mattress from moving even on wood or tile floors.
Durability and Comfort
Constructed from puncture-resistant PVC, the EnerPlex air mattress is made to withstand use over time. The luxurious, velvety flocked top, provides the perfect mixture of comfort and durability. Upon initial use, make sure you allow the bed to sit for 24 hours, so that the material can fully stretch. If you need to, top it off with a few seconds of air. The bed can be pumped up as soft or firm as you like it, fully adjustable to your specific comfort level.
Convenient Use and Storage
Designed to work with your regular twin-sized bed sheets, the EnerPlex raised air mattress has unique ridges on its sides to prevent sheets from slipping. Once your bed is inflated and you've allowed the seams to buffer for 24 hours, treat is just as you would a regular mattress. When you are finished with your inflatable bed, it can easily be deflated and folded for storage in the included carry bag.
Guest Accomodations
The EnerPlex Double-High Raised Airbed is designed to be firm and supportive, promoting proper spinal alignment. It feels just like your regular mattress. If you're looking for a bit of a softer bed, just inflate for a few less seconds. The EnerPlex twin-sized air mattress will hold air to whatever your preference is all night long. Use the bed as a spare for your guests visiting from out of town, but be careful, they might not want to leave!
Moving Into a New Home
Big changes happening in your life? Whether you've just bought a new house, expanding your family, or are packing up to move to a new city, a comfortable night's sleep can help make life's transitions easier. The EnerPlex airbed can go anywhere with you, can be inflated in 90 seconds, and stores compactly.

Product description
If the airbed has a leak you can find it and patch it But first check for the following Stretching is a natural characteristic of new vinyl and the first few times you use the mattress, some stretching will occur suggesting that the mattress is losing air. It is simply stretching under your body weight and this is normal for the first few uses. To check the mattress for leaks, first make sure the valves are secure, replace it if necessary. You can also put liquid soap and water in a squirt bottle and spray on seams. If there is a leak it will bubble. (Laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent will not work; they do not have the "bubbling" effect) After you find the leak, clean and dry the leaking area, remove the flocking with fine sand paper or an emery board, then apply the repair patch that comes with your airbed. Alternatively, you may purchase an Intex repair kit (#59632) for additional patches.
Offering all the benefits of the Intex Raised Downy airbed but with the added advantage of lighter weight and mid-rise height, the Intex Pillow Rest inflatable airbed is ideal for travelers who want the comforts of a bed but the convenience of a blow-up mattress. The Pillow Rest is equipped with a quality-tested, 20.8-gauge, waterproof flocked top, along with 15-gauge vinyl beams and 16-gauge sides and bottom. The resulting surface is comfortable and secure, whether you're sleeping at the in-laws' overcrowded house or setting up a guest bed in the basement. In addition, the Pillow Rest is remarkably easy to inflate thanks to the built-in, high-powered electric pump, which does its job in a mere three minutes. No more fussing with tiring hand or foot pumps or rummaging through the garage for your detached electric pump. And should the mattress feel a little too soft or firm, you can customize the comfort level with the touch of a button.
The Pillow Rest is raised 17.5 inches from the floor, making it far taller than most inflatable mattresses, and includes built-in pillows for added comfort. And at 39by 16.5 by 75 inches (W x H x L), the mattress is an official twin size, making it a good fit for fitted sheets. The Pillow Rest--which offers a capacity of 300 pounds--comes with an AC power cord, a shoulder strap, and a duffel bag.
Regarding inflation:
Measurements will vary based on the manner in which it is inflated and packaging disclaims “approximate size”.

User questions & answers
Question: | Does it automatically stop pumping air in once it is full or it has to be manually stopped |
Answer: | Sincere ps: We specialize in providing electric air pump for this intex bed with 110V AC input/12V DC output- certificated and for safety inflating. You may check the linking: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01J1ACN3Q |
Question: | how does it deflate |
Answer: | The pump operates in both directions. If you set it to deflate and then flip the switch, it will suck out the air. |
Question: | After airing up, is there something to close? Son's bed, and he is 80 pounds, keeps losing air through the night |
Answer: | The nozzle by the on/off switch needs to be turned completely to closed. If it still loses air, you got a lemon and should contact Amazon to replace it. That's what happened to me. First use with m 130 lb son and it lost air. Replacement held my 200lb hubby and didn't lose any air. |
Question: | is there any way to bypass the electric airpump. I plan on using this camping, and might need to us some other pump to inflate it |
Answer: | It is possible to bypass the built-in electric pump by using either a manual pump or a battery powered pump. The included instructions show that this is possible. If you look at the photo that shows the pump, you can see a hole through the middle of the dial (which is used to inflate/deflate the bed). The pump that you end up using must have a hose outlet that can fit through that hole. As for camping, please make sure you have a large enough tent - this is a big bed. Yes, it's only a twin size, but it's quite high off the ground. |
