Question:	I have very little clearance between door & wall--how far out from the door does this extend
Answer:	the top hook sticks out about 4 inches and the bottom one about 2 and a half.
Question:	How long down from the door top does this reach
Answer:	Hooks are 8 and 10 10/2 inches from top of door. This item is pretty sturdy I only wish it was wider. I would by again.
Question:	How many inches is the "hanger" portion that fits over the door
Answer:	mine came in at 1.75 inches. I have standard 1-3/8 doors and i had to put plenty of foam tape to close the gap. I was prepared for 1.5 as described so it wasn't ideal but it works provided you don't mind the hanger sticking out a half inchI got the quad hooks. Don't know if all styles measure the same
Question:	What's the height? (What's the drop from top to the hook
Answer:	From the top piece that goes over the door to the bottom where the bottom hook curves is 10 inches. I'm 5'2" and I am able to reach both top and bottom hooks easily. Hope this helps. This is a strong and great quality item.

Answer:	No. It fits over a door or a rod. I suppose if the rod were on a wall, then yes you could hang it on a wall.
