| Answer: | It's not polyester, that would be an outer curtain. This is the plastic inner liner. I'm not 100%, but I'm pretty sure PEVA is making reference to 'not vynal'. This did not have that horrid plastic/vynal smell coming out of the package. And ye, it works. As long as you remember to extend the curtain back out when your finished, the water will run off and it doesn't get icky (as opposed to keeping the curtain pushed to the side) |

I attached with Velcro so I should have put it up sideways but I’m not going to undo it. So I’m not using it as a shower curtain. It’s the same type of shower curtain you’d get at Walmart for $7-8. All these complaints....you will have to pay more for a quality shower curtain. When I was younger I used this type all the time. Now I pay more for nicer liners because I can. |

| Answer: | It has vinyl piping inside the bottom hem which would probably need to be removed before hemming. (You might be able to slide it out at one end of the hem.) If you were going to use a sewing machine, you could definitely hem it after removing the piping. If done by hand, I would overcast the seam. The fabric is good quality, but relatively sheer. |
