Answer:	They are like hotel towel bath rugs I dont think they slip but are so nice to wash regularly like your bath towel. I dont like those yarn rugs you cant wash them all the time.
Question:	Is it slip resistant? Does it hold well in its position or will it keep slipping from its place
Answer:	It is just like putting a towel on the floor (but thicker). It has no grip or rubber to hold it in place. I have not had a problem with it slipping out from under me but I step down onto it. I am not sure if I would use this around some one who tends to fall a lot and has balance issues. I will state that I have been using bath mats for 30 years and have never had a problem with one slipping out from under me.
Question:	Do these keep the floor underneath them dry when you step on them from the shower with wet feet
Answer:	They are very thick - thicker and heavier than a bath towel, i.e. can't use it as an actual towel, definitely a mat. But not sure if the floor would stay dry if stepping out of shower totally wet since I towel dry partially in shower before exiting.
Question:	How thick are these? I have very low clearance on my bathroom door
Answer:	They are not thin but not terribly thick either. What is your door clearance. If less than three quarters of an inch I can't think of many rugs that would work. My door is three quarters inch clearance and the rug doesn't get caught
