Answer:	This Heating Pad is washable! Care and Maintenance Instructions: 1. Disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet. 2. Make sure the Pad Connector is disconnected from the Control Connector by pressing the tabs on the sides of the Control Connector while pulling the connectors apart. 3. Answer:	It works wonderfully for my carpet and smells wonderful but I couldn’t guarantee it works on German Shepherds? I’d wash it with Pinesol once a month.

Answer:	I previously reported that there are no heating coils in the neck area. At the time I bought my first one, there were none, but something happened to my heat setting button, I returned it. They replaced it with one that does have heating coils in the neck and flaps. So now my answer is a resounding yes!!!

Answer:	No, it's not chargeable. It must be plugged into an outlet or power strip to work, but it does have a pretty long cord.
Question:	Will This pad work for a 230 lb guy. All pictures are of average or small females
Answer:	It should, but it may depend on how broad your shoulders are. If your shoulders are broad, the part of the pad that covers your shoulders may make it so that the ends of the pad don't extend all the way to your shoulder joint. Don't know how much of a problem that would be for you. I'm a large woman, and it works well for me. It comes with a long strap to secure the pad at the waist. I don't use the strap because I use it on my office chair, and it stays in place. The strap should be plenty long enough for a large guy.
Question:	Does the neck part have heat to it? Also, does the top and front part of the shoulders have heat
Answer:	I've found that yes, the neck and shoulders have heat, but not as much as the back. I'm always using it at the highest setting, so that may be what accounts for my experience being different from someone else's.

Question:	Which side are you supposed to put on your body? The soft side or the side with the instructions
Answer:	I use the soft side when I am wrapping the pad. However, when I'm laying on it, such as my back, I'm using the side with the print. I've used only the pad as dry heat. When I do use as moist heat, it is my plan to use the softer fabric side. Hope this is helpful.

Answer:	Yes, mine is plugged into a 110 outlet with no problem.

Answer:	It stays on for quite awhile but I have noticed that when you don't move or adjust it after ahout 30-45 mins it will automatically shut off

Answer:	Heating pad smelled like dead fish...After further inspection, I realized the smell was coming from the small storage bag that comes with it. The one with the draw strings? I washed the heating pad itself with detergent in a bucket and the smell came off right away. Its actually really easy to clean the heating pad itself. The bag tho...had to wash twice and still smells like fish. Probably will end up throwing away the small bag and the box it came with. PEEYEEEW.

Answer:	Yes, and you will need to wash it to remove the awful petroleum smell after opening. I handwashed it in the sink with 2tbs. Tide and 1/4 cup of ammonia for a couple of minutes and then rinsed well. It significantly reduced the smell to a tolerable level. Good thing because the brace works very well, better without the bad smell too!
