Question:	There was no seal on the top of the bottle of vitamins, is this normal
Answer:	I really didn't see a change in milk supply. I definitely didn't see a decrease in milk supply though. I just know that baby and I have been very healthy and happy during our breastfeeding journey (she is 12 months today and still breastfeeding). I used Let There Be Milk to boost milk supply during her earlier months. I believe I saw results. I used this as my multivitamin and I'm still using them. Not sure if these vitamins are helping milk supply but I can attest to our health and stability while on this vitamin. Therefore I'll keep using them until she is weaned off. I hope this helps!

Because of the significant blood loss as a result of the delivery and blood loss following up to a few weeks after birth (called Lochia), iron is key in building back up your blood supply, and helping to avoiding postpartum anemia. It is recommended to take 27mg of Iron daily if you are breastfeeding and not menstruating, and at least 18mg if you are not breastfeeding. The Mother's Select Postnatals were developed for Nursing and Breastfeeding mothers, so that is why the recommended 27mg of Iron per day. A lot of mothers after giving birth feel very tired and sluggish, which can be part of the baby blues, but a lot of times is because of the lack of Iron in your diet immediately following the birth of your baby.
