Question:	Each strain has 5billion
Answer:	I am a 75 year old man and have NEVER had any substantial weight problems my entire life. When I say substantial, let me qualify that by saying there have been a couple of times when I gained as much as 10 lbs or so but that was over a period of a decade. Once I decided I felt too heavy, I simply cut back the quantity of food I ate--limited myself to about 75% of the normal quantity I normally ate. Over a period of a year or so, I was back to a weight I was comfortable with. Then in the winter of 2018-2019 I was given an antibiotic for a toenail infection. I began losing weight. Over the next 6 months, I lost about 15 lbs. But I actually thought that was a good thing so I really did not think much of it. But then, I started a period of continuous diarrhea--64 days straight! I consulted 3 doctors and again none came up with a solution. An internet search (NOT something I depend on for medical advice!) led me to Lactobacillus Cidophilus & Lactobacillus Rhamnosus. I took those probiotics and my diarrhea stopped within 24 hours!!!! But then my weight went in the other direction. Over a period of 6 months, I had gained 35 lbs!!!! Again, no doctor provided any help. So once more I turned to the internet. There I found L. Gasseri. I ordered this brand via Amazon and the weight gain stopped immediately! Since I started this, I have NOT seen any substantial weight loss but the gain did stop--and for me that is MAJOR! After 9 months on L. Gasseri, I am now down maybe 2-3 lbs. But I am NOT still gaining. So I am certainly at least happy with that! have also done a LOT of research and I am convinced the antibiotic made MAJOR changes to my gut microbiome. From what I have read, there seems to be little chance my microbiome will ever return to it's previous state. I have now been taking 2 of the L. Gasseri 3 times per day for 9 months. I have seen absolutely no ill effects. I am NOT recommending this for anyone else. The gut microbiome is EXTREMELY complex. MAYBE it will work for you but maybe not. I just wish I could figure out how to really lose weight without totally changing my diet to include foods I do NOT like! But I guess that is beyond current medical knowledge! Heck, I could not even find any doctor who would have recommended what I did. But I am sure glad I did!

Our quality testing includes, but is not limited to:
