It's interesting to hear manufacturers say their ingredients are 'Sourced globally, including China'. To me, this is doublespeak for 'Made with Chinese ingredients'! I happily pay extra for companies that care enough about their customers to source all ingredients from the US or Canada.

Answer:	I am not a doctor or nutrition specialist but if I had to take a guess it would be the amount of iu per pill. If you have a doctor suggest that you take this vitamin (as mine did and why I purchased this vitamin) the doctor will tell you the ic they want you to take. My doctor wanted me to take the 2000 iu and the non-softgel that I ordered for myself does not say high potency. I hope this was helpful.

I asked Nature Made what the difference was between the high potency and extra (ultra) strength Vitamin D3 IU 5000 vitamins, as both are currently available. In response, Nature Made stated it updated its packaging with a label design that celebrates Nature Made’s iconic brown bottle and yellow label. It advised that there is no difference between high potency or (ultra) extra strength, and stated there have been no changes made to its vitamins and supplements including ingredients, amount of nutrients, and suggested use.

Answer:	I too would like a definitive answer to this. I see the words 'bran' and starch', things other than sugar can have carbs. Some people are on a low carb diet and when you only get 20 per day, you need to know where your carbs are at. 20 adds up fast.

Second, vitamin B 12 is referred to by a different name.Methylcobalamin and 5-deoxyadenosylcobalamin are the forms of vitamin B12 that are active in human metabolism . (I got this from the website nih.gov) The ingredient list only mentions B12, but not the exact form of the B 12. No B9 on the ingredient list. Hope this helps.
