Answer:	I have to Cath in a bag so as I'm pouring urine out I run the test strip under it and it works just fine. The only difference between my bags and the container you're probably using is my bags are sterile so I'd make sure you use a clean container so the test isn't contaminated.

My doctor sent a urine culture to the lab and e coli came back as one of the infecting agents. Answer:	Dear Nina, Our Cranberry is more effective when used as a preventative measure or as a treatment for Urinary Tract Infections, rather than a treatment for bladder stones. However, it can be used as an effective way to prevent Struvite bladder stones. When a dog's urine becomes alkaline, or not acidic, it is common for Struvite to precipitate out of the urine, forming Struvite crystals. The urine may become alkaline for a variety of reasons, including the presence of bacteria in the urinary tract. Cranberry not only acidifies the urine, but also makes it difficult for harmful bacteria to attach itself to the urinary tract, preventing infections and the stones that could possibly be caused by the infection.
