Answer: The lozenge is the delivery method. Regular capsules you would swallow, but a lozenge is a flavored pill that you hold under your tongue or in your cheek (or just suck on it I suppose), to release the vitamin directly into your bloodstream bypassing your digestive acids which can otherwise hinder the potency of some vitamins such as b12, which is why people often will talk about b12 injections, but lozenges seem to work just about as well. B12 in capsule form isn't nearly as effective as injection or lozenges based one studies I've seen. This is a good product

Answer: This product contains only 3 B Vitamins (B6, B9, & B12). All are in the "Methyl" form, which is no big deal unless you're part of the 1% of the population that can't metabolize B9 in its common form (Folic Acid). The "Methyl" forms of B6 & B12 are no better than the ones you'd get in any quality B Complex. I happen to be part of the 1% that can't metabolize Folic Acid, so I have to use the Methyl form. This Jarrow product is fine for this need, but i find it's more economical to buy 1000 mcg L-Methylfolate by LifeExtension (thru Amazon). You can get all the other B vitamins via a B Complex, or you can just buy the specific ones you need (e.g. B12 at 1000 mcg).
