There are 27 - 8 ounces individual cartons in the box. It comes in vanilla or chocolate. I don't like the taste of either but have them as my only meal while I was going through radiation and they helped a lot! It is the liquid with the highest protein content in 8 ounces that I found in the market, maybe they have others but I couldn't find them.

Answer:	I would stay away from it. Many chocolate drinks have cocoa in it which is chocolate. Most likely caffeine will in some fashion be in it. However if you’re sensitive, it may not take much to cause you harm. Being fit means nothing if you’re in the hospital. They have vanilla!

Answer:	SWALLOWING ISSUES - Often, people with swallowing issues actually need something thicker so that they do not aspirate fluid into their lungs when drinking. Speak with their physician to make that determination and if not already done, a swallowing test should be performed. This is usually followed up with a speech therapist who will assists the person in techniques to manage swallowing issues. Swallowing issues can occur with advanced with aging and the weakening of our swallowing mechanisms. My father had swallowing issues and was aspirating liquid into his lungs, which ended up causing an infection and pneumonia. I actually had to buy him a "gel thickener" to thicken any thin liquids such as water, soda, tea, coffee, soups, etc., so that he didn't aspirate fluid into the lungs again. Bottom line is, just because a liquid product is thick do not assume someone with swallowing issues should not have this. Perhaps the best way if you're really into training is to crunch up two or three before a workout and swallow one whole so it will dissolve overtime because I always drop something in water and start a timer just to see how long it actually takes to dissolve in warm water

Answer:	I take 2 shakes a day after work out in the morning and later at night instead of a full meal... I mix it with yogurt and liquid for the morning shake and get 30 days from each 4lb container. Hope this helps. The yogurt gives you some extra protein so you can cut the serving to 3/4 of the scoop.

Answer:	My personal favorites are caramel, vanilla cafe latte and banana in that order. Pumpkin spice was also tasty in small quantities (I've piecemealed my order since October). Peaches and cream and strawberries and cream were just okay but based on smell and their sacrine sweet taste i felt like i was drinking something akin to a scented candle. As for the choco varieties, i have yet to find a chocolate protein shake i like, this was no different. Yuck! Im not a fan of cinnamon so i skipped cinnamon roll all together.

Answer:	Milk protein and lactose are two different things. A person with lactose intolerance can still have milk protein. Milk protein is a protein and lactose is a sugar. The ingredients indicate only 1g of sugar, but list sucralose. Sucralose is a sugar, so this is where the 1g of sugar is coming from. Ensure Max Protein drinks also list 1g of sugar with sucralose listed as a sugar and it is suitable for lactose intolerance individuals. I have not had the Premier Protein shakes, but I've had the Ensure Max with no problems and I am lactose intolerant.
Question:	How is the taste and consistancy
Answer:	$25.06 for a dozen 11.5oz bottles. The cookies and cream taste amazing, I love it! 1 bottle keeps me from feeling hungry for about 5-6 hours

Answer:	Freezing them could change the consistency if you freeze them and thaw them out. That's why freezing milk isn't recommended. The only way to change the protein would be with heat. With the right application of heat, you can denature protein. A good experiment to see this at work is frying an egg. That's why the clear runny stuff around the yolk turns white while you cook it. Freeze away (I love dumping it in a blender with ice to get a similar effect.)
