It's a dense liquid that needs to be thinned with about 2-3 oz of water and should be mixed with another product since it's so concentrated. We mix it with Boost VHC for additional nutrition. Answer:	If it was a small bowl or cup it would definitely thicken it and change the flavor. I don't think I would put it into a broth, but that is just me. I originally thought since it was such a small amount I could throw it in 8oz. of orange juice and it basically floated to the top.

For a quick burst of energy I often stop and eat a Stinger, although if out on a long, long ride I will use a Clif bar, which has more protein in it. I've used Stingers many times to bridge the gap during a bike ride. And these (the regular ones) taste great!

I had originally purchased a box with 12 bars and thought that was what I was getting this time. Wrong!
