Question: Is there more whey than soy boy protein
Answer: I have both the Vanilla and Chocolate flavors and both containers indicate only "Natural Flavors" and have no indication of any artificial flavors. Also, the sweeteners indicated on the ingredients are Fructose and Stevia Extract (all natural as well). Both flavors are very sweet tasting to me, but they always mix-up well with water (unlike some other natural products I've tried). Furthermore, if you mix in other powder supplements with the Met-Rx, the extra sweetness in this whey covers up some of the supplement bitterness (i.e., BCAA, Creatine, Beta Alanine, Citruline Malate...) really well. BTW, my experience with ON products has not been as good as with this product, in particular the ON Natural Casein is really really really crappy.

Answer: October 2019: The price of an 18 bar box went up app. 33% within a couple weeks time. I paid $12.24 per box for 2 boxes last month, and a couple weeks later, I paid $12.24 per box for 4 boxes. Single (18 unit) boxes were $12.24 each. A few days ago, I visited the same Amazon site, and the price had increased to $16.64 I wrote a product review, complementing the product, but questioning the high increase in price. Amazon sent me an email, saying that my review was now posted. When I looked for it, the site shows a general 4star review (for this 18 unit box), with over 2,000 reviews. However, NO REVIEWS (including mine) ARE POSTED. Instead, it says "be the first to review this product". I am an appreciative and motivated Prime customer, and buy many things from Amazon. But this situation and lack of response or info from Amazon seems like a way to slip in a higher cost without taking responsibility or even an explanation to me. Since the product is made in Canada, not China, this is not related to the current tariff issues. Jeez Amazon, I would have appreciated a response instead of having to address the issue here. Question: How do these have 4 carbs when the label says 23 carbs
Answer: They're similar. Slimfast has sugar, these do not. So I don't eat Slimfast any more. I do admit, however, the Slimfast taste a little better, I think it's the texture. The Atkins cookie dough are not gooey or soft like cookie dough, and the chocolate chips are very small. The flavor is good, don't get me wrong, I still like them. But if you like chocolate Atkins has much better bars (just my opinion, these things are subjective obviously). Atkins Chocolate Chip Granola is good if you like crunchy, and it has lots of chocolate chips. Atkins Triple Chocolate Crunch is excellent for chocolate lovers, crunchy, dark chocolate, lots of chocolate chips. Atkins makes a nut roll that tastes just like PayDay, one that tastes just like Snickers, and a cookie bar that is like a huge Oreo cookie. The chocolate caramel nut roll is one of my favorites. Answer: The bulk of the protein, as I discern the label, is from whey, but there is a smaller amount of soy lecithin, further down in the list of ingredients. If you do not want ANY soy, then don't use this product. (I am not convinced that soy protein is "garbage," but because of a history of breast cancer and autoimmune disease, my doctors have told me to stay away from soy products--even though they say it is fine for others of their patients. I use these bars only occasionally, and certainly not daily. They satisfy hunger, give me energy, and provide a small meal for me when I am on the run.

I had originally purchased a box with 12 bars and thought that was what I was getting this time. Wrong! Read carefully before purchasing because they do not sell them as boxes of 12 at all times it all depends on the seller.

Answer: They are a supplement. My suggestion is to download a nutrition tracking app and figure out your basal metabolic rate. Ensure you are eating enough quality calories and exercising. If you use these as an easy extra meal these are pretty tasty. Feel free to ask any other questions

Answer: At my local Walmart and grocery stores they are like $2 a bar. There's a bigger variety on Amazon, in my opinion, since my stores only sell two or three flavors. I get the churro box here for $16 & if I buy them at my local stores, which they don't carry this flavor, it would cost $18... So I'm saving $2. In the long run I save money getting the bars on Amazon and getting a bigger variety of flavors plus I get free shipping and I don't have to go out of my house.
