I paid $12.24 per box for 2 boxes last month, and a couple weeks later, I paid $12.24 per box for 4 boxes. Single (18 unit) boxes were $12.24 each. A few days ago, I visited the same Amazon site, and the price had increased to $16.64 I wrote a product review, complementing the product, but questioning the high increase in price. Amazon sent me an email, saying that my review was now posted. When I looked for it, the site shows a general 4star review (for this 18 unit box), with over 2,000 reviews. However, NO REVIEWS (including mine) ARE POSTED. Instead, it says "be the first to review this product". I am an appreciative and motivated Prime customer, and buy many things from Amazon. But this situation and lack of response or info from Amazon seems like a way to slip in a higher cost without taking responsibility or even an explanation to me. Since the product is made in Canada, not China, this is not related to the current tariff issues. Jeez Amazon, I would have appreciated a response instead of having to address the issue here. The price increase seemed very steep. And what gives with your not posting any of the 2,000+ reviews. Did mine cause you to "start over"? |

| Answer: | I have both the Vanilla and Chocolate flavors and both containers indicate only "Natural Flavors" and have no indication of any artificial flavors. Also, the sweeteners indicated on the ingredients are Fructose and Stevia Extract (all natural as well). Both flavors are very sweet tasting to me, but they always mix-up well with water (unlike some other natural products I've tried). Furthermore, if you mix in other powder supplements with the Met-Rx, the extra sweetness in this whey covers up some of the supplement bitterness (i.e., BCAA, Creatine, Beta Alanine, Citruline Malate...) really well. BTW, my experience with ON products has not been as good as with this product, in particular the ON Natural Casein is really really really crappy. |

They sell a box of 16 PB Meal Bars for about $19.50 and the expiration dates are always 8-10 months out, at least. Walmart sells a box of ONLY 5 bars for $8. Amazon's best price is $11.27/8 bars. Plus, I often receive them in dented boxes and with expiration dates only about 3-4 months away. I really like Atkins bars but I won't buy them on Amazon any more. I only buy Luna Bars on Amazon these days. |

| Answer: | They're similar. Slimfast has sugar, these do not. So I don't eat Slimfast any more. I do admit, however, the Slimfast taste a little better, I think it's the texture. The Atkins cookie dough are not gooey or soft like cookie dough, and the chocolate chips are very small. The flavor is good, don't get me wrong, I still like them. But if you like chocolate Atkins has much better bars (just my opinion, these things are subjective obviously). Atkins Chocolate Chip Granola is good if you like crunchy, and it has lots of chocolate chips. Atkins Triple Chocolate Crunch is excellent for chocolate lovers, crunchy, dark chocolate, lots of chocolate chips. Atkins makes a nut roll that tastes just like PayDay, one that tastes just like Snickers, and a cookie bar that is like a huge Oreo cookie. The chocolate caramel nut roll is one of my favorites. | Answer: | I would say so. If it is a really hot day, they will melt. My advice is to put them in the cooler with an ice pack. The bars are only difficult to eat when they melt and reharden, otherwise it's not a messy/crumbly bar. |
