Answer:	This is impossible to answer without seeing a list of the ingredients. If the fiber is Prebiotic Fiber (isomalto-Oligosacchrides) that is considered a FAKE fiber and should not be deducted from the total carbs. Lorraine may not be 100% correct but we can't know that without seeing the ingredients. Steven R is dreaming when he says read the label. Do you think the label never lies? Come on Steven. If the fiber is pre-biotic it should NOT be deducted from the total carbs. It should be total carbs - erythitrol which will yield a very different net carb number. I think Quest is running a scam.

I paid $12.24 per box for 2 boxes last month, and a couple weeks later, I paid $12.24 per box for 4 boxes. Single (18 unit) boxes were $12.24 each. A few days ago, I visited the same Amazon site, and the price had increased to $16.64 I wrote a product review, complementing the product, but questioning the high increase in price. Amazon sent me an email, saying that my review was now posted. When I looked for it, the site shows a general 4star review (for this 18 unit box), with over 2,000 reviews. However, NO REVIEWS (including mine) ARE POSTED. Instead, it says "be the first to review this product". I am an appreciative and motivated Prime customer, and buy many things from Amazon. But this situation and lack of response or info from Amazon seems like a way to slip in a higher cost without taking responsibility or even an explanation to me. Since the product is made in Canada, not China, this is not related to the current tariff issues. Jeez Amazon, I would have appreciated a response instead of having to address the issue here. The price increase seemed very steep. And what gives with your not posting any of the 2,000+ reviews. Did mine cause you to "start over"?

Answer:	It kept me a little bit over level because I consumed this at night after working out. It was quick and easy. I usually at a banana or mixed it with lactose free milk. By itself mixed in water, in my opinion it’s not a heavy hitter if you’re really serious in your workouts! If you deadlift, do a lot of cross training, bench press, squat, and so forth, 70 grams of carbs won’t cut it. Also, people are different. If you’re gaining the necessary amount of nutrients (carbs and proteins) through the day, this might work. For instance, if you need about 300 grams of carbs, I would make sure I’m around 230 grams or higher when I workout. Also I would eat a carb loaded meal 2-3 hours before my workout cause your body’s gonna burn it. If you burn 40 grams of carbs during your workout, you’re only gaining 30 carbs when you take this cause you got to replace what you lost. So your cabs must be adequate. Something like Serious Mass has around 254 carbs. So of course, you’ll see more gains. It all depends on your diet. Oatmeal, sweet potatoes, rice, and wheat bread was all I ate. I saw gains when I mixed this with milk (only when I was meeting my calorie intake).

Answer:	High fat doesn’t mean keto alone. Keto is just keeping carbohydrates below around 20 grams a day. Chicken breast is high protein, low fat and perfectly acceptable on keto.

Answer:	yes, almonds; eggs, I don't think so. I am disappointed in the new bar-it used to be 7 grams of protein and 5 grams of sugar; the new box I ordered has 6 grams of protein and 6 grams of sugar. I can taste the extra sugar.

Answer:	I doubt it because most Kashi fiber bars contain hard red wheat. Check the ingredients list for wheat.

Answer:	I have not had the pumpkin flax bars but I have preferred the Kashi bars because they are not very sweet. The sweeteners are listed as brown rice syrup, cane syrup, and honey. I have not seen any high fructose or regular sugar listed. I don't find them like a candy bar at all. I hope this helps.
